    [UK] 2024.14.x

Just going off the numbers on TeslaFi it looks like the huge wave is now ending, which is a bit annoying as my car has not been offered the update yet!

That looks nice! Let the impatient waiting commence :D

    Motorway Navigation Instructions

I had a long return journey between Liverpool and Dover this weekend, and this issue is definitely very, very annoying. There was a couple of M6 junctions where the nav instructions had a place name and different road number icon, as though I was about to head in a different direction, but I...

I've found Waze to only do this at more complicated junctions, or where my current road can only be continued on certain lanes. Otherwise, it usually just says "M6 for 28 miles" or whatever.

Standard dipped beam alignment would be so much easier if we could do it "live". In normal operation in Europe, headlights must have a 1% downward angle; annoyingly, you must calibrate a Tesla at a 0% dip. Add to this the pattern isn't the same as the live dipped beam and is instead a dedicated...

OK. There's every chance you'd just not had automatic high beam activated before (this means with the stalk, not on the menu). Activating on the menus doesn't mean it's automatically activated as though you'd pushed the stalk. Remember: The AUTO lights setting just means the car will turn on...

No, you'll see the grey headlight icon with an A in it meaning adaptive is "armed"/ready. That icon will turn blue when it's actually using adaptive high beam. As above, pushing the stalk forward simply changes between dipped (the two green icons, which show sidelights and dipped beam) and auto...

Yep I've just been out for a drive for the sole intention of testing them as I'll have seldom little night driving until the nights start drawing back in come October. I went down a long, dark back road and they didn't activate... hit a street-lit area and they came on! 😆 That said, they...

    [UK] 2024.8.x

I got a notification from the app to say one was available, then just clicked "Install" because it was sat on my drive, already connected to WiFi. You'll be getting 2024.8.7 like everyone else.

Nope, that's the right release to be on (before this latest 2024.8.x release)

Just woke up to v2024.8.7 on my 2024 Y RWD :)

Good catch, another 1,300+ pending installs at the moment. Way up considering only a couple of hundred have installed each day over the weekend.

Mine was sat on the "Checking for updates..." for nearly an hour this morning. I could see the Tesla downloading on my WiFi status page, but thus far it's only done a nav update. Hoping by the morning I might wake up to good news.

No, to summarise, I'm still waiting for this update :(

Am I right to assume there's no "trick" to getting an update any earlier other being set to "Advanced" and crossing my fingers? The car gets a good WiFi signal on the drive so I'm hoping that's enough.
