Mountain Pass Coilover 6 Month Review

@thesmokingman. This is good to know. I will take a look at the Ohlins.

Mountain Pass Coilover 6 Month Review

@thesmokingman the MPP coilovers support factory height and I am on a Model 3 performance which is a bit lower anyways. Maybe the model Y is not the same? MPP Model 3 Comfort Coilovers AWD/Performance - Mountain Pass Performance

Mountain Pass Coilover 6 Month Review

I have been seriously looking at these and I appreciate this review. My plan is to lower it in the summer and raise it to factory(ish) height for snow in the winter (rally style ;) ) when clearance is helpful. my question is if there is any need to get the camber adjustment arms when lowering...

    P3D+ Spoiler/DM badge Waiting Room

Just some info anyone confused about the spoiler and what it does. Spoiler (car) - Wikipedia Mostly just cosmetic, but may help slightly with aerodynamics. Helps more with aesthetics factor. @gunpwdr nice chrome delete. How long did it take you? Was it difficult?

    Performance Model 3 Snow Tires/Rims

I did 19x8.5 because it will get better snow performance that way.

    P 3 spoiler

So this is the waiting room. So much waiting with this car :) I am happy to have had the car for the past 2 months to drive though, rather than wait for the spoiler.

    Performance Model 3 Snow Tires/Rims

I am running TSW Chicane wheels with Blizzak LM 001 tires. The centering rings needed to be shorter longitudinally, but we were able to cut them down. I am running them without the rings right now and will add them later. They didn’t believe me when I told them about the lip issue. I might just...

    P3D+ compatible wheels

The TSW wheels have a big bore of seventy something mm and you use a hub spacer to shrink it down for centering. The spacer it came with could only get pushed in exactly flush with the back of the wheel, so it would not accommodate for the step on the hub. The tire shop grinded down the spacer...

    P3D+ compatible wheels

I got the TSW Chicane 19” with Blizzak LM001 winter tires put on last night. The hub ring needed to be grinded down longitudinaly by a few mm to accommodate the hub step, but they fit and look good.

    P3D+ compatible wheels

I did a test fitting of The TSW wheels. It almost fits the 18”, but it would definitely rub. The hub fit well. I would need a small hub spacer, but these type of wheels are designed to take a spacer. Final build is: TSW Chicane wheels in gunmetal Blizzak LM 60 tires

    P3D+ compatible wheels

There have been a few spots in other discussions where it is touched on, but I thought it would be nice to compile a list of wheels that have been verified to fit the bore required to fit on the P3D+. I get the impression that it might be tricky, but maybe not as bad as I think. I am looking to...

P3D with Performance Upgrade and Black Interior status

Took delivery today. Great experience with the DS. Seems Tesla has an “energy specialist” there to discuss solar options, which seemed weird at first, but is a great idea and I scheduled some time with him. This car is quick! It rearranged my organs a few times.

Colorado waiting room - M3 Performance AWD or non-Perf AWD

Delivery went pretty smoothly. The DS did a good job talking through the tech, which I was well informed of because of my obsession. They seemed busy and there was a handoff to another DS to finish with the paperwork, which took an extra 15min or so, no biggie. My car is in the 63xxx VIN range...

Colorado waiting room - M3 Performance AWD or non-Perf AWD

I don’t think so, they just happened to have the semi sitting in the back. Maybe it needed a part or something?

Just stopped by the LIttleton service center. I got to see my car. Super excited to pick it up on Wednesday! Also the Tesla semi is cool too, but it isn’t mine.
