I took yesterday as an opportunity to close out some covered calls that got DITM after the hertz announcement. I had to sell 8% of core shares (tax-deffered account) to do so and it hurt. But I think I can make it back more easily with either selling new CCs (going to wait for Elon's share...
I'm currently managing some CCs from last Friday that I had to roll out to Jan 24 1650. I rolled those in to Sep 22 1200 yesterday and collected $8.50.
Right now I can roll the Sep 22 1200 to Jan 24 1750 for about even credit. So a $100 improvement from the Jan 24 in just a day plus credit
So...
Yes. I feel the pain as well. I sold 20 950cc last Friday thinking that the worst case we'd have a wall at 1000.
At this point I've just rolled them to next Friday at the same 950 strike and waiting for that one down day to roll to a better strike. But at this point in time it looks like we'll...
That looks great and definitely makes it easier to manage if things go wrong. I like TD as it's easy to move money around but that is the one feature I really want. Rolling spreads in one transaction.
Thanks for sharing.
Model Y exterior is as I expected, but I am surprised at the 7 seat option. I imagine they’ll offer a 6 seat option (2 bucket seats in the middle) in the future. If i was buying today, I’d definitely replace our 6 seater Highlander Hybrid with the Model Y.
As an investor, little disappointed...
Yesterday the price to upgrade my EAP to FSD was $6,600. Now if I try to do that it shows Full Self Driving Capability $9,200. All prices CAD.
Could be a glitch with the upgrade price ... ?
Yeah, if I login into My Tesla, I have the option to upgrade to FSD for $6,600. Which is clearly more than after delivery price originally quoted when ordering the car.
Same. Just a quick wash to get most of the stuff off the car. It doesn't come out perfect, but it's winter... and only costs $3 or $4.
Also, most coin car washes have a large pin where you can hang your mats while you spray them.
I went to Speedy Auto Glass, but the guy said that it would leave a pretty big white circle because of the UV coating. It was right in front of the driver's field of vision so I decided to just replace it.
Replaced by Tesla at the service centre. It's Tesla glass (with the "T" logo) and so far...
In case anyone's curious, I recently had the misfortune of a large chip on my windshield and needed to get it replaced.
Total cost was $987 + HST. It was broken down as $672 for parts and $315 for labor.
I'd also recommend filling it out now, but I think it's highly unlikely that you'll get your car before January. Tesla is clearly focused on U.S. deliveries before the end of the year due to tax credit reasons.
