Ariya has liquid cooled active BMS. Will CCS at 130 kW.

But single motor will be front wheel drive and there is no frunk.

No doubt NMAC will do a $299/month lease in no time and many will take them up on their offer.
Sounds like a good vehicle for 2019 model year. Good price when you include the $7500 federal incentive. Too bad won’t be available in the USA until 2022. Tesla model Y will probably improve further by then.

TWTR took a much bigger hit in after-hours than TSLA.
Speaking of afterhours, there has been some impressive SP movement during afterhours - for months now. It used to be fairly stable after the close. And the reason given for stability was that the larger fish can't trade then because it would move the stock with too much force.

So are we now seeing a cumulative effect from Robinhood trades and world interest causing higher volumes after-hours. Let's face it, the close is hard to tell now if you don't know the time of day.

Just because it is a 2022 model year vehicle doesn't mean it won't be available until 2022. It will be available next year.

If the perp(s) were smart they first went into DMs of all the breached accounts and copied everyone’s DM conversations. Only then would they post the hacked tweets.

Hope Elon had no market-moving or other sensitive info in his DMs!

Ability to tweet as any user does not necessarily mean that the infiltrator could read DMs.

All right, as investors we should always be evaluating the competition. This actually looks interesting. It's a normal looking car, it has actual EPA claimed range of 300, and Nissan actually knows how to make and sell an EV having sold Leafs all this time. This looks like an actual possibly legit competitive car, the first I've actually seen from the ICE makers so far.

Late 2021 though, so Tesla has plenty of time to react.

They don't claim it has an EPA range of 300 miles - they say it should have about that. And you will have to pay for the 87kW battery to hope to get that! Pretty embarrassing. I'm guessing at Interstate speeds it might be even more embarrassing. I'm not bringing this up just to throw shade on the car - this is important for millions of people like us who live 95 miles outside "the big city" and/or the same distance from family members. If we want to do a day a trip to either we currently charge our Model 3 to 90% to ensure we don't have to stop for a charge on the way home (after running errands, using "Dog Mode", etc.). A car with a lower range we would be charging to 100% regularly and in the winter it would leave no range left for errands and side trips and we would be adjusting our cruising speed to make it all work. Sure, it would work for a lot of people who don't commonly have to drive that far in a day but I wouldn't want to turn those day trips into a mini-expedition.

You gotta wonder though. According to some reports they seem to get only a few tens of thousands in bitcoins sent to their account. This can be tracked. Apparently it's customary for scams to send some themselves to make it seem like it's working so maybe not even that.

Why would they not buy Twitter puts, wait a week or two, then do this when the market is open? They would have made millions easily.

Because the buyer of puts is easily discoverable. Not Bitcoin.

Another small price reduction just appeared for the Tesla Small solar panel system (4.08 kW). Down to $8,200 from $10,000, and their Solar order page now boasts Tesla offers a "Lowest cost in America Money-back guarantee."

Someone needs to ask them on Say.com what is going on with Solar. They are undercutting even the Chinese imports. Did they make some kind of manufacturing break through?

Up to now, all the pretending has been inflationary.

I want this to be legit. EV competition needs to get nasty.

Exactly! Real competition would bring so much more attention to the EV space and make EV's so much more mainstream that Tesla would have more buyers than before the competition appeared! That's how small the EV space currently is.
