All US Cars capable of FSD will be enabled for one month trial this week

For all you who received the v12 free trial, do all of your cars have interior cameras? I'm wondering if the free trial will ever come to teslas without the interior camera.

Does it matter which supercharger I use on my 2017 Model S?

My 90D charges significant faster today on V3 than compared back when I purchased the car in 2017 when speeds were limited on V2 split between 2 stalls. I hit speeds of 160 to 161kW now compared to well under 120kW back in 2017. Still pleasantly surprised by this old battery tech! Still got...

Supercharging Speeds: Who, what, where, why, and when

My 2017 MS 90D hit a max peak charge rate of 160KW today on a V3 in Oceanside, CA. Never seen it this fast before. I've been supercharging my car a lot over the past week and it consistently hits 143KW. I'm still pleasantly surprised with the old battery tech. Held up quite well and...

Anyone know if the new 20" Cyberstream wheels from the MX fit on the older Model S?

Supercharger - Irvine, CA - Michelson Dr. (Park Place, LIVE 19 Oct 2019, 12 urban stalls)

This station is busy every single hour of every single day until about 10:30pm. The problem is that it is surrounded by large luxury aparment complexes to the north, south, east, and west. There are hundreds of teslas in these apartment units within a 1 mile radius and none of these apartment...

Supercharger - Irvine, CA - Walnut Ave. (at Jeffrey Rd., LIVE 4 Dec 2020, 8 V3 stalls)

I just stopped by the east 5th street location. I was the only one there. Only 4 miles away from the other SC locations on Michaelson and FV. Sure beats waiting at those locations.

Supercharger - Irvine, CA - Walnut Ave. (at Jeffrey Rd., LIVE 4 Dec 2020, 8 V3 stalls)

How come no one uses the East 5th St. Santa Ana supercharger location? Fountain Valley SC, Michaelson SC, and the Walnut SC arealways packed but the Santa Ana one is rarely full.

Supercharger - Santa Ana, CA (12 V2 stalls)

Tried four different chargers at this site today. Only got 1kw. This location is the worst.

    2017 90D vs 2018 100D - is it worth it?

I had a similar decision to make back in June 2017. I narrowed it down to either a new 100D or a new inventory 90D AP2 (v3 battery) that cost 25k less after a significant inventory discount. I took much of the savings and invested in Tesla stock. It was the best decision I ever made on a new...

What to do?!?!? 2013 Model S 60 Battery fail

Ostrichsak...say you have to 2 options to purchase a 100k model s. Would you... 1. Pay cash in full today Or 2. Pay cash in full in 7 years 0% interest Based on your comments you would pick option 1. I just want you to realize 100k in 7 years is worth about 87k today once you account for 2%...

What to do?!?!? 2013 Model S 60 Battery fail

Ignorance is truly bliss. There is no "house of cards" as you put it. The cash is invested in risk free CD at 2%. If you dont understand how such a basic investment can guarantee a 2% return with zero risk then this conversation is clearly over as was the case when you would pass up on 0%...

What to do?!?!? 2013 Model S 60 Battery fail

Ostrich sack thinks that everyone on this forum is a financial idiot in terrible shape like the people who call Dave Ramsey for financial help. Dave gives the same advice to every single caller. Pay off debt, live off rice and beans, and make more money to be financially independent. Stating...

What to do?!?!? 2013 Model S 60 Battery fail

My analysis was based on the assumption that a Tesla is simply a toy for which the buyer has plently of disposable income to spend. I would never recommend anyone to purchase a 100k vehicle unless they have the money to spend freely after all other neccessary financial obligations have already...

What to do?!?!? 2013 Model S 60 Battery fail

Also I need to add...some of the wealthiest billionaires in the world like Mark Zuckerberg still carry a 5 million dollar jumbo mortgage on his house in Palo Alto. Why does he do this? Because his rate is 1% which is less that the rate of inflation. In essence...its free money. Only...
