I am a retired lawyer in Houston, Texas.
My current ride is a black 2021 Model S Plaid with cream/walnut interior and 19” wheels. My original Model S was a 2015 Obsidian P85D, with Ludicrous upgrade, 19” wheels and all options other than jump seats, executive rear seats, and trunk spoiler. This car was totaled in 2021 by an uninsured motorist who T-boned my car while running a red light, nicely recorded on my dash cam. This car was six years old with only 21,000 miles when given to the salvage industry. It had been the best car I had ever owned. The 2021 Plaid so far looks like another fine automobile.
I also own 2018 white dual motor Model 3. A very lively, fine handling urban car that’s a lot easier to park than the Model S. Not the deluxe highway ride, though.
I have avoided low-profile tires to avoid the sidewall and rim damage that Houston’s terrible streets and rail crossings can cause.
