Failure. I got the BMS a170 and BMS a027 error codes. Other than some WOT pulls I hadn’t done anything abusive to the car, no donuts, no slamming it in park while moving, etc.

Another data point. I asked that and what caused the failure, they didn’t respond.

Yeah exactly! Still have ~2 years left on the warranty. Now the battery needs to fail in the next 25 months lol. The loaner they gave me has FSD and acceleration boost, I have half a mind to ask if they’ll skip the repairs and apply that toward trade in value….

Sometimes the SOC drops 3-4% 30 min after a drive, rarely does it go up. Today however it did, I went to bed with the car at 50%, woke up with it at 54% which was a welcome change.

That’s fairly typical if you’re doing any amount of highway driving. The typical Model 3 has a 200 mile real world range.

The Model 3/Y were 100% designed to be operated with autopilot on. You cannot do anything without digging through a touch screen. Using them with a strict autopilot will be VERY annoying.

Depending on how nerfed Autopilot becomes I may have to use this to get my $3000 back.
