    AWD or RWD?

My MS is RWD, and I have regretted not getting AWD ever since. However, this is only due my heavy left foot. For everyday driving the RWD manages all the UK weather with ease. I'm sure the M3 will be just as good. So if you're not too bothered by 0-60 times, then the RWD model should do you.

    Just got 19.8.3 this morning...

It could also be the roof isn't fitted properly. When my car first arrived the pano roof creeked and had alot of wind noise. The SC refitted it for me and it was perfect after that. And back on topic, 2019.8.3 just installed... Not been to the car yet but noticed Sentry Mode on the App and...

    Just got 19.8.3 this morning...

For those with odd headliner noise; just take it to SC. After a big repair after a rear-end collision, the roof started making odd rain like sounds. Told SC in MK and they came out with me, heard it, and fixed it. FYI ; If you ever need a bodyshop in MK, don't use Frosts use the other one...

    Software Update 2019.5.x

My install took about 1 hr, and also had error messages. And the release notes were blank. Odly I had 2 updates. One last night (about 1900 GMT) and then this one in the early hours (0130). I didn't go to the car, so don't know what the first update did, but that one only took the normal 15 or...

    Software Update 2019.5.x

That’s interesting, mine seemed to have trouble too. And took 3 times longer than most updates I’ve had. I had the chimes, but not an easy thing to test without causing a problem to other drivers.

    Software Update 2019.5.x

Has anyone got 2019.5.14? I’ve been without my car for 4 months after a crash, when I got her back I had 2018.50.x and was hugely impressed with the improvement in autopilot. But this morning I got 2019.5.14 and autopilot is now basically unusable. It is constantly slamming the brakes on when...

    voice commands

Mine worked fine until V9, now it doesn't hear me at all. It's not even registering, not a word. I was hoping it was a known issue like the Spotify bug. Maybe it's language specific.

    Spotify Bugs

I need to test this hypothesis more, but it looks like I only get this issue when the car switches from LTE to WiFi or WiFi to LTE. As said above, an MCU reset fixes the issue once I'm away from WiFi.

    Car wash...Does it fit?

I purchased all the cleaning equipment to clean my MS myself, but I’ve only managed one wash in the year I’ve had her. So I use BP car washes now, as they state the max width of the car on the sign (normally 2.2m, which gives you just over 10cm clearance each side). It’s a tight fit, and...

    What is this sensor for?

It's a light that, on the Mercedes it's from, indicates the speed limiter function is on. Rather than normal cruise control. The button on the end in a MB toggles between Cruise or Limiter, the light indicates which is set. It's on the 2018 C-series I've got while my MS is being fixed. (someone...

@DJP31 thanks for the info. I’ve now managed to book in for all the minor issues (been trying since Nov). The headlights still aren’t in stock. I’ll probably still get them but, as you say, I won’t lose any sleep over it :)

Sorry, I'm not sure when they were added to the PUP .

Yea, sorry OP; my fault. You may have seen it, buy there's a few YouTube videos on the Adaptive headlights. In it you can see both the old fog light mounted LEDs come on, and the AFS in the top part of the headlamp come on. From what I understand, any Tesla after Q3 2017 should have the AFS...

Yes, what you are calling low speed cornering lights is what I mistakenly called dynamic headlights, and what Tesla call AFS. I mistook your low speed cornering lights to be the small lights in the fog light assembly that come on when you do low speed turning like parking etc. And yes, Tesla...

By dynamic, I mean the “14 three-position LED dynamic turning lights [that] improve visibility at night, especially on winding roads.” They used to be available as an upgrade I believe, but in July ‘17 they were moved to standard. But whoever decided to move them to the standard setup forgot to...
