Well, the yellow tint just started happening to my 2019 March build Model X with HW3. I know there wasn't anything specific to HW3 models but it's supremely disappointed this still happens to a fairly new car.
Last night I got a software update notification and I am now on 2019.12.1.2. Looks like we are caught up with most of the latest changes with Sentry, Dashcam, new browser, on route battery warmup, stoplight warnings.

I received HW3 in my Model X this past week and found out that the software has dashcam disabled for now. I guess I feel like the original AP2.0 owners that found some of their software capabilities gimped while they try to catch up.
Long story short, you aren’t missing anything right now. :)
My main test was with a SanDisk 128GB UltraFit with 130 MB/s write speed. I tried a more generic stick that I had around (16 GB slower USB 3.0) but it behaved similarly.
