    Battery coolant heater failure

I have a 2017 Model X. The Coolant Heater was just replaced. The reason mine was replaced was due to the following error messages that came on vehicle screen. (1) Vehicle may not restart - Service is required. (2) Acceleration and top speed reduced - Performance may be restored on next drive...

2017 Model X Unable to Read iPod Plugged to USB

Thanks for your response. I figured that because I've tried connecting both my phone and ipod, only one can be connected. I was hoping there was a trick to connect 2 devices at the same time via bluetooth. I guess I'll just stick to using a USB flash drive for music.

2017 Model X Unable to Read iPod Plugged to USB

I'm sure I'm not the only one that have this issue. I plug my iPod into the 2nd USB port, the infotainment (MCU) is unable to read/detect that I plugged a device to the port. But when I plug a flash drive into the same USB MCU is able to read that I plugged a device to the port. So, now I need...

Tesla just lost one customer, i know they dont care but i do !

So sorry you had all these issues. I bought a 2017 Model X few months ago, and my transaction went very smoothly. As some people have stated about the destination fees. You don't pay for destination at the same time you place an order. The destination fees is paid after you have signed all the...

    Anyone got HW3 retrofit yet?

To answer your question; Yes, FSD will work with MCU1. I bought a 2017 Model X with FSD. The hardware was just upgraded from v2.0 to v2.5 and then v3.0. You don't have to upgrade the MCU, however, if you don't upgrade the MCU from MCU1 to MCU2 you'll be missing on a lot of virtualization and a...

Paid for FSD but Tesla refuses to acknowledge

Per your Purchase Agreement, you definitely should have FSD and a free HW v3 upgrade. I also bought a used Model X directly from Tesla. It came with FSD. The rule is, if the previous owner paid for FSD when they bought the vehicle originally from Tesla, the FSD stays with the car. You're...

FSD saved us from being crushed by a semi

Reckless driving is what that truck driver did and he/she should get a citation for it............ Based on the posted footage, I don't think you would have had the room to floor it and be able to avoid the truck as the front of the truck already blocked you from being able to get pass it...

Does anyone think MCU1 is fine?

I just picked up my car from the Service center after installing the new MCU2. It's like night and day. It's so fast and you'll notice the difference right-away. Like I have said before in this forum, going from MCU1 to MCU2 is like getting the same model car but a newer version but without...

Does anyone think MCU1 is fine?

My 2017 MX is currently at the Tesla service Center for FSD v3 and MCU2 upgrade. The MCU2 performance is way better than MCU1. It's almost like getting a new car for $2500. If you plan on keeping your car for at least 4 years or more, I would say YES get the MCU2 upgrade, and especially if you...

Tesla infotainment system upgradeable from MCU1 to MCU2

You're probably correct. I may have misunderstood what they said. But my invoice does state "Retrofit Model X Autopilot 2.5............at no cost. Then my new Service Estimate for the MCU2 upgrade states "Infotainment upgrade from Tegra MCU and Autopilot 2.5 to Intel MCU and Autopilot 3.0"...

Tesla infotainment system upgradeable from MCU1 to MCU2

My 2017 Model X was purchased with FSD and came with AP2. Last month I scheduled to have the AP2 upgraded to AP3. However , the Service Center upgraded to AP2.5 and asked me to schedule another appointment to have the AP3 installed and since I wanted to upgrade to MCU2 they said both will be...

    My order and delivery experience

I just called the Superior location and I was informed that the Model Y you referred to is a 'Returned' vehicle that has a Title issue because of something with the VIN. The Tesla rep says that it takes about 6 weeks to resolve title issues, for the reason they can't offer the vehicle for sale...

    My order and delivery experience

Great. Thank you so much for the info. I'll stop by there tomorrow. My delivery center is going to be the Littleton (Broadway) center. I'll ask them at the Superior center if the one you're referring to is awaiting delivery or if it's available to anyone. MNS is my 2nd color option. If this...

    My order and delivery experience

Hello, my configuration is Black/Black/LR/AWD/FSD/20" wheels. I've not seen any Model Y in person here in Colorado. I think I have a long wait for mine as the Black exterior seems to be the last one in Tesla production line. Would you be willing I meet you somewhere to see what Model Y looks...

    Model Y is in!

My config is Black/Black, AWD, FSD and 20" Wheel. Still waiting, my account has been on 'Drafting contract' for over one month. I guess the Black exterior color is the last one to be produced. I've not seen any Black exterior delivered.
