Look into a paint-less dent repair service, I've used them (on a non Tesla) and the results were great. You can paint a chip easily, it's the dent that catches the eye.
I feel your pain! it's the reason I park in the middle of nowhere.
I just wanted to chime in with my delivery experience and build quality; there's so much negativity posted about getting a bad build or a bad delivery experience. I get it; you get a car without issues and delivery was good so why bother hanging out on the forums? You're too busy pinching...
I don't know, blown away by it. I asked the SC delivery guy and he said that it might have been ordered by someone else and they weren't ready, my configuration matched and I got it. I checked all of the boxes, M3P, Red, White interior, FSD.
Just picked up my 2022 M3P today and it doesn't look lowered like the lead photo in the configurator. I've been driving an SR+ with 18" aeros for almost 2 years and expected the ride on the 20" wheels to be harsh; my wife and I thought it was a smoother ride!
I ordered my M3P on Friday 1/14, the site said for March delivery. I got a text the following Sunday, your VIN is here, complete your pre-delivery tasks!
I got caught up in all this talk about the new Ryzen chip and gave my SA a call, she said the Ryzen chip has not been officially announced...
Yes, the app indicated 196 mi and as a test I charged to 100% and it ended up at 206 mi! I never let it sit at 100% so I then drove the car down to 80%.
I think your theory of what might have happen seems valid, in the summer our garage gets pretty warm and my car spent a lot of time at 80%! A...
It will be 2 years old this May. You seem pretty knowledgeable about NCA batteries, could this be just because it's sitting in a cold garage?
When I move the slider it now shows I have 196 miles at 100% this morning. It's 55f in our garage. I fully understand that cold reduces driving range...
On my daily trek I usually run it down to around 50%, so it's charged back to 80% in just a few hours and sits at 80% overnight.
The car is always garaged, however over the summer months it can get to the high 90's inside during the day.
Yes, an RV7a and yes we built and also painted it, our...
No, we live in northern Arizona and the temps run about 15f lower that Phoenix. I drive a 90 mile route 3 - 4 times a week for business then charge in my garage. I rarely supercharge, about 10 times in the 19,800 miles since new.
My 2020 SR+ that started around 250 miles new is now showing a full charge at 201. I've read so much about this over the last year and was in the "set it to percentage and forget about it" mindset, but now I just don't know. This is nearly a 20% drop. I've done all of the suggestions on this...
