I agree completley! We have a jeep Cherokee which has come in handy several times when backing up. Can’t believe this is not standard in all Teslas. Also, side view mirrors with amber warning light would also be very helpful! C’mon Elon, stop making upgrades to farting sounds and focus on safety!

Confused about having climate come on. Ok so I have my m3 set for pre conditioning at 7:00 am. (It is not plugged in) temp setting is off and set for 72 degrees. How can I get the temp to turn on while the car is preconditioning? I would like to get into a warm car when it is cold out!

If I am not charging overnight , is it ok to Precondition in the morning and set the climate from my app? Everything I am reading seems to indicate that preconditioning should be done only while charging. Right or wrong??

Thanks for the reply...I understand the preconditioning before getting to a supercharger. So if that is the case, then simply warming up your car via the app is not considered preconditioning?

Thanks….. the traffic on the highway was completely stopped…. Never had problem in the past with the red line showing… kind of bizarre that I turned off the destination and then the red appeared… maybe I’ll try a reboot…. Also might be a kink in the late latest software which I recently installed.
