Yes, that's the one. Till presentantion of production X it was assumed on this forum this was Model X (to be honest i was conviced it was an X). But now we know better. Hidding in plane sight for more than 3 years (this is from NatGeo Megafactories documentary as far as i remember).

Again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Details in the design are not locked in yet. Model S prototype < Model S production, Model X proto < Model X prod. I doubt they won't refine/tweak the design till production starts. As for personal opinion, i like it and i'll buy it in a heart...

I don't think it's gonna happen, they need GF for economies of scale, otherwise (buying from other vendors) will sell the 3 at a loss (nobody is close to Tesla costs for producing batteries). They need GF for Model 3 and Model 3 for GF. It doesn't make sense to build GF AND buy from others at a...

Maybe they're not that risks takers (wait 2-3 years for a car with lots of unknowns). I'm in the same boat, the closest service center is 1200 km away (in Vienna, Austria) and no superchargers. Until that changes I'll only dream about owning a Tesla.

It's not what i thought (i read hybrid as in Prius hybrid), it's a hybrid design between S and X. In order to give the same headromm as in S, they couldn't reduce the overall height of the car so, design wise, it looks like a smaller X (shorter and narrower but same height as an S). McHoffa...
