Again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Details in the design are not locked in yet. Model S prototype < Model S production, Model X proto < Model X prod. I doubt they won't refine/tweak the design till production starts. As for personal opinion, i like it and i'll buy it in a heart...

Maybe they're not that risks takers (wait 2-3 years for a car with lots of unknowns). I'm in the same boat, the closest service center is 1200 km away (in Vienna, Austria) and no superchargers. Until that changes I'll only dream about owning a Tesla.

Seriously doubt that: One of the things they mentioned over and over again was the "oportunity space" they have in an electriv vehicle when presenting the Model S in 2012. I don't think they'll just give up on this.
