Upstate NY here. I noticed my Edit button disappeared a week ago yesterday. I finally called Tesla yesterday. A VIN was "secretly" assigned (ie not revealed to me) on 6/6, and my car shipped on the 8th or 9th. I have yet to receive any email or call from an ISA, my VIN is still not showing...

Yeah I received my VIN today of 192xx, far from 40xxx. Hope it's not a problem for me.

It would be very useful if people posted that they got their VIN that they also post whether they received the "June" or "July" email. It'll be 8 weeks waiting for a VIN tomorrow, and I received the dreaded July email. I've heard a few cases of "July" email people getting their cars but ...

I didn't say I agree with it. My biggest gripe isn't the wait (over 4 weeks now awaiting VIN), it's my inability to prepare . And it affects everything from insurance to loan rate locks to how low I'm willing to drop the price of a car I'm selling that's to be replaced by the M3. With any luck...

Don't make this a federal case ha. As others have noted its an estimate & you agreed to it in your Order Agreement. Tesla is cutting edge not Toyota geesh Not to mention we're only half way through the estimate
