Row 3 Seat / VIN info (UK)

Just received my Model Y VIN - delivery Sept24th Blue/Black/LR/19 LRW Y H C E K 0 N C All the into I can find suggests the highlighted C indicates 3 rows of seat restraints.... Has anyone in the UK got a Y with the C in the VIN?

    USB Storage Full Question

You know what they say about assumptions.... both drives were 64gb, bought from a major high street national supermarket, so I'd say the chances of them being counterfit are zero. both had worked flawlessly in low demand situations for a year - occaisional file transfers and not pysically...

    USB Storage Full Question

I've had two sandisk fit USB drives each fail within a fortnight of constant sentry mode. My Sandisk endurance micro SD in a USB adapter has now lasted over a year. N=3, but you'll find this is not a unique story.

Just going to point out that you can both be right - If the distance and speed vary proportionally, then the time will remain constant....

Model 3 LR being delivered Friday 20/11 - UK

Just make sure that everything that should be in the car is (type 2 cable, granny charger etc) Look for any obvious paintwork panel or interior issues (id recommend taking photos all round while the delivery person is there). that's about it. if they're still doing touchless handovers, don't...

What’s your comfortable winter driving temp and settings.

Same as my house. 18.5 all year round, no ac, no recirc, fans to 3. Seats on while I'm charging and watching Netflix.

Should recirculate be renamed to range boost mode? (Winter Tip)

Can confirm that recirculation is a terrible idea (at least in the UK) for visibility. Even in completely dry clothes, 30miles into a journey, and even in relatively dry outside weather, putting recirc on for any length of time will lead to dense fogging.

Tesla to fix rapidly dying 12v batteries with software update.

If you look, the minimum increment on the measurment looks to be 50mV and all of those pips happen in the latter half of the step on the graph and get closer together the nearer the end of the step you get, and actually some up-ticks after the dense section, its more likely that the voltage is...

12v battery issue, Tesla unsatisfactory response

Seems excessive to even think about replacing the 12v unless there's an issue. I had my last two cars 10 years each and only replaced the 12v on my Ford when the alternator went and took the battery with it.

I've not been to the service centre with it yet, suppose I ought to though.

My UK m3p does at least put the hazards on in an emergency stop, as I discovered yesterday.

Sentry Mode not working during break ins / Removing rear seat latch

Lowering the seat only goes so far... next you'll need to leave the under-trunk uncovered. Why not just leave it unlocked with a couple of doors slightly ajar, and pin to drive enabled, that way everyone can have a good, damage free look around, satisfy themselves there's nothing to be had, and...

    Video: Vandalism by Motorcylist

I've found that sudden impacts can result in me becoming startled, occasionally it's made me jerk to the right and knock a motorcyclists wing mirror off....
