I usually carry a Faraday pouch with me when I travel anyways. I once stayed at a hotel where the Tesla destination charger was right outside my window. This was awesome because I could check on my X by just peaking out but it was close enough that without the pouch, the fob was within range...

You could always get a faraday pouch/bag off of amazon to put your fob in. This will block the signal so it won't matter if you accidentally push the buttons or not.

It's a little closer than Sarasota - I did my Blackvue install at Soundwaves of Tampa and they did an excellent job. Reasonable price, fast install, great guys to work with. It's about 5 minutes down the road from the Brandon Supercharger.

My X75D was new inventory. I put placed my deposit on Monday in Orlando. It happened to be getting delivered to West Palm Beach that afternoon. I opted to go down and pick it up from there instead of waiting for transportation to be arranged to move the car and was able to pick it up on Friday.

According to release notes posted elsewhere in the forum, it includes TACC/AS to 90mph, removes local road speed restrictions, improves side collision, and adds auto high beam. Big update! Can't wait to get it!

There's been 17.14.x builds out so I don't think the 17.11 would be the addition of AEB. Although I hope all versions later than 17.10.x have this issue fixed. I do see on TeslaFi that someone got 17.16.35 this morning. Hopefully that has the AEB AND AP 2 fix.

Depending on what you put in the frunk, you may or may not benefit from the mat up there. I didn't order that one because my frunk is mainly long term storage (tow hitch, air compressor, tire repair kit, first aid kit, etc) and I have all of that in a cargo organizer. I do like my trunk mat -...

That's good news! Hopefully it stays going strong! How did you get 17.14.35? Was it OTA or did it get loaded at the service center?

Sound Waves is great. They are right down the road from the Brandon super charger and did an amazing job with my dash cam install. I provided the two channel blackvue camera and rear camera and they handled the rest. The cables were located in the original windshield channel and it looks great!

My AP came back on the drive home yesterday but disappeared again this morning. I haven't received any firmware updates yet. Hass anyone with the missing AP gotten 17.14.35 yet?

Looks like an AP1 SP90D received 17.14.35 this morning. Fingers crossed that this release includes a fix for the AP2 failures and goes out quickly to the fleet.
