Thanks! I saw that my original order date was 7/5 (was an SR+) so even though I upgraded to the LR on 7/21, they said I would not be eligible for the $2k. It seems like I can place a new order and they will then transfer the VIN so delivery would remain the same, but I have to pay the higher...

Hmm, I just noticed my actual order date was 7/5, not 7/6...completely silly that's the difference of getting the $2k NJ rebate applied or not. Going to have to see if I can re-order and have them transfer my existing VIN (I'll have to pay $1k more since they increased the price). Or somehow...

Wow, I thought the cutoff date was July 1, didn't realize it was the 6th (complete coincidence I ordered that day, bc I wasn't originally planning on delivery in NJ). Please keep me posted on how your pickup goes!

@Doug03 If/when I hear back from them, I'll post here so others in NJ can see as well. That was my understanding as well re: Tesla handling it.

Ordered 7/6, upgraded to LR on 7/23, MSM/black, 18'', no FSD. Delivery window had narrowed to 8/31-9/9, picking up at Springfield, NJ location. Got my VIN this AM and window narrowed to 8/29-9/4. For those here in NJ, how are you handling the $2k rebate from Charge Up? I emailed them asking...

7/6 order, 7/23 change from SR+ to LR, NJ delivery. MSM/black, aeros, no FSD. Have consistently seen my window narrow to 8/30-9/9, the front end basically keeps moving out each day by 1 day.

Mine slid forward 4 days to 8/23-9/12. As long as it arrives before NJ rebate $ runs out, that's all I ask.

Last 3 days went from Nov, to blank, now 8/27-9/16. I gotta stop checking bc it feels like a crapshoot but hopefully it's correct! This is for a 7/6 order, 7/23 upgrade to LR being picked up in NJ

Count me in the group that went from having an EDD to no EDD, to November, back to no EDD as of today.

Add me to the list of NJ orders that went from no EDD to Nov...7/6 order, upgraded to LR on 7/23.

Re: taxes, it depends on the state - if you buy in CA, you have to pay CA sales tax regardless of where you register...

Thank you @Baytomax - I think I'm too new to react and for some reason the quote function didn't work. I know LR is def more backed up than SR+, and my original order was 7/6, with the upgrade on 7/21 so I really should brace for Oct. Anything sooner would be gravy

Is there a definitive answer as to whether or not changing your order impacts your EDD? I noticed that once I upgraded from an SR+, my EDD disappeared and has yet to make an appearance since. I'm taking delivery and registering in NJ, so I'm also closely watching the rebate $ left...

I had decent CS over email where I had to change my delivery location from CA to NJ and that got handled smoothly. No EDD though and since I revised my order 7/21, I'm assuming I won't be seeing the car until Oct at best but I hope to be surprised!
