Autopilot nags get worse and worse. Wish I had never updated from the day I bought it.

I can't tell any real difference except in the first few seconds of engagement. If you don't have some force applied to the wheel and if your eyes aren't on the road it will nag. After that smooth sailing. If anything, it feels like the interval of time you can have your hands off the wheel...

"Cabin Camera Unavailable" Kills FSD. AP Okay.

I can't imagine why not. They just took off the rearview mirror assembly and swapped the board. There rest was just changing settings in the service menu.

    First time using Tesla Service

I've owned my 2019 Model 3 for a bit over 12 months now and I've just had my first experience with Tesla service and I gotta say I'm very impressed. The basic warranty is up of course. The car developed an intermittent fault in the cabin camera. I used the app to put in a service request...

"Cabin Camera Unavailable" Kills FSD. AP Okay.

So replacing the camera module seems to have solved the problem. My commute is 65 minutes and it performed flawlessly yesterday evening and this morning. I gotta say that I'm pretty impressed with with Tesla service. My two previous cars were Jaguar and BMW and neither of them would send a...

"Cabin Camera Unavailable" Kills FSD. AP Okay.

I had Tesla mobile service out today. The replaced the camera assembly for $364. Not sure what accounts for the price difference. I actually thought that was fairly reasonable to on-site service. I've yet to drive it but will report back tomorrow.

"Cabin Camera Unavailable" Kills FSD. AP Okay.

I went ahead and scheduled a service call. They are set to replace it on Monday. Definitely going to watch the work and see if there is indeed a crimped coax cable and make sure its replaced.

"Cabin Camera Unavailable" Kills FSD. AP Okay.

The update to 2023.44.30.8 didn't fix the problem. Wish we knew more about this pinched coax and whether or not it could be a DIY fix.

"Cabin Camera Unavailable" Kills FSD. AP Okay.

I'm starting to suspect that it really is a hardware problem. Some sort of intermittent fault with the camera.

"Cabin Camera Unavailable" Kills FSD. AP Okay.

I decided to put in a service request for this today. A few minutes after scheduling a mobile servicing I received this message. So sounds like we will be getting an over the air fix for this. Hopefully soon.

"Cabin Camera Unavailable" Kills FSD. AP Okay.

I'm having this problem as well. I've had the "cabin camera unavailable" error on and off for a while but it only started disabling FSD after the December update. Very annoying. I happens both at night and in daylight.

AC Desiccant Bag replacement service cost

Well ok then, lol. They reinvented something that has worked perfectly for decades. Thanks for the info.

AC Desiccant Bag replacement service cost

Also not sure why they are calling it a "bag". It's certainly a metal canister on the high pressure loop so there is no way it's a bag. It will set ahead of the expansion valve/capillary tube to keep it from ice-fouling in the event a trace of moisture has entered the system.

AC Desiccant Bag replacement service cost

I have never heard of a service requirement like this. The AC refrigerant loop is sealed. The desiccant should only need to be changed if the loop is opened for service or broken in an accident.
