Just to follow up, it looks like we're up and cranking at full speed. Charge rate peaked at 240kW when I stopped there this evening.

I just came through there an hour ago. The area is fenced off, but the rear exit road is open to through traffic. I work just a couple minutes away from this location, so I'll be sure to swing by to take pictures tomorrow.

It's nice to see a setup that closely matches what I have in mind. I've been "chasing my tail" for just over two years myself. The plan is to run the same tire and wheel size with a +45 offset and 15mm spacers in the back. I'm just waiting for the temperatures to get back to somewhat tolerable...

@neroden I didn't read the entire thread, so I hope this wasn't already mentioned, but have you contacted your legislators about Senate Bill 6600 and Assembly Bill 8248? This is something you would benefit from directly as Tesla would be allowed to extend their state presence to 15 locations...

Ha! The only thing I'm willing to sign is for them to drive the car for me (while I remain on standby ready to take over if necessary, of course!). I'll take care of the maintenance though. Funny thing, I remembered this thread on my way home from work this afternoon when the "low washer"...
