i finally caved in and upgraded to mcu2 today

just had my model x go through the mcu upgrade today

check the valve block

I had my car taken to tesla, the culprit is the valve block. i think its a common repair when the car hits the 5-6 year mark. the price is about $250 cdn plus labor so not too bad

I think the suspension valve block becomes a bit faulty during cold weather after it becomes older than 5 years

do you know where is the valve location to manually fill the air tank for a model X? There's lots of guidance online for model s, but i couldn't locate the model x fill valve yet.

Have them redo it Mine was done wrong the first time then they took ot back to do it again

This is great information. I noticed my model x doesn't have it and its out of warranty. Do you suggest to get this added by Tesla when it next goes for air suspension service?

Tesla labour charges are getting ridiculous. Parts are often charged fairly but the labour really kills it and leaves a bad taste.
