check the valve block

I had my car taken to tesla, the culprit is the valve block. i think its a common repair when the car hits the 5-6 year mark. the price is about $250 cdn plus labor so not too bad

I think the suspension valve block becomes a bit faulty during cold weather after it becomes older than 5 years

Have them redo it Mine was done wrong the first time then they took ot back to do it again

This is great information. I noticed my model x doesn't have it and its out of warranty. Do you suggest to get this added by Tesla when it next goes for air suspension service?

Tesla labour charges are getting ridiculous. Parts are often charged fairly but the labour really kills it and leaves a bad taste.

That sounds like a pretty good deal. i would budget a few thousand on the side the change out the half-shafts eventually. Also check if it's been upgraded to mcu2. If not you can budget it in. I personally have not done it yet but the majority strongly recommend it. One thing i forgot to...

I noticed my battery is also depleting way faster after the most recent major software update a few weeks ago. I noticed it now also attempts to adjust the air suspension often when it would have previously gone to sleep. So i suspect the software update caused some issues... Bootup of the car...

Yes its covered. Quote them on the corrosion warranty. If that fails I would try another service center

They damaged my trunk while replacing the spoiler under warranty... Now getting that fixed.... Enjoying a loaner model s insane in the meanwhile

Mine was done as well... Its a 2016 as well... but the Oakville service center put it on crooked.. planning to take it back next month (my car has been stored for the winter)

When i walk up and press the handle, it will open, provided the car wasn't sleeping. If it was sleeping it will do it after a few moments as it boots up. I read somewhere theres am option to keep the car always awake by disabling the power saving option one of the settings.

I simply replaced the 40a fuse Its known as a jcase low profile fuse, easily found in auto parts stores for $2-$5 Canadian I was prepared to change the relay as well but didn't have to go that far. But i did research the relay and its the same as many jeep models. I suggest at home to keep...

I was able to fix my air suspension by simply changing out a burnt fuse. I agree, us owners (without warranty) should attempt to self-diagnose issues. Many parts for Teslas are commonly found.

Update to the thread, i was able to fix my air suspension by replacing a burnt out 40A fuse, which was very easily found at a local store. As others have mentioned, some parts are very common for Teslas, so don't hesitate to troubleshoot. Thanks to the Forum and forum members.

I'm also looking for the same fuses for the air suspension, haven't been able to find them online... Did you discover where they are?

Seems to this date its still hard to find a diagram of the fuses

Just to add to this thread, my garaged MX P90dl also has the driver side front and rear is down as well... note rebooting the car had no effect. i'm also in Canada, and its been really cold, so will keep an eye on it as the temp goes up as the car is stored for the winter.

I recently received the message to change the 12v battery message on my 2016 p90dl Thanks to the forums and youtube, i was able to change out the 12v battery myself. i picked up the oem battery for $200 plus change at my local service centre. I was researching the after market Lithium options...

These are easy to add. Just insert a flathead to the short side of the light and it pops right out. You can get these with the T logo on the famous auction website.

2016 p90dl Mcu1 90k kms Recent work done Half shafts done (for shudder) Front brakes and rotors replaced Original 22" tires coming up for replacement. (Use separate winter tires, so thats probably why they lasted so long)

I am in Toronto, Canada... I have a 2016 p90dl and I got the half-shafts done this month. It seems to drive very smooth now and no shudder. Thanks to this thread i was able to confirm the latest part numbers. The cost to do them were roughly around $1900 CDN, out of pocket of course.

I was charged $88 via ESA, as a homeowner installing it in my own garage. I understand ESA licensed electricians pay less than others for inspections in most cases.
