Ordered SR, no additional options. Day one reservation holder in NC. So far, nothing, still says prepare for delivery. I know it's a skewed sample size here but not many SR models getting ordered.

So no one brings up the LR option without the PUP, except a mention in this thread. If I could get that configuration by EOY I might splurge for it above my current bare bones intended config.

But all these travelling assumptions I have seen with range never include other non Tesla chargers that may or may not be on whatever gaps there are. So you might need to pull into a level 2 charger after the wind kicks up, still not ideal but you won't need a tow..

I agree with this. I am into the M3 and I waited in person for my reservation but if I am in the third or sixth bullet... I don't think my 2003 car can make it to then without major repairs and ~$40k+ is a no go zone for me unless gas spikes to $4+/gallon
