PSEG and change to RLM time of use Billing

1% per day is normal per owner’s manual regardless of enrollment with Rolling Energy. How are you determining the constant waking up every 30 mins or so? Do you see extra mileage loss in the Energy screen?

Model 3 SR+ LFP Battery Range, Degradation, etc Discussion

I have 27k miles and also getting 239 miles on a full charge so the degradation is calendar pretty much. My lifetime consumption is 205 wh/mi.

Model 3 SR+ LFP Battery Range, Degradation, etc Discussion

NFP is Nominal Full Pack in kWh which is usable energy when fully charged. Test needs SOC to be below 50% and I was well below. I did upgrade to 2022.36.6 from 2022.36.5. Wonder if it is a bug in .6.

Model 3 SR+ LFP Battery Range, Degradation, etc Discussion

Update on the battery Health Test. I was able to unlock the Gateway to start the test but nothing happened. It said all the criteria met and “Starting Test” and there was a 900 seconds. I waited and nothing happened. I tried charging the battery to 7% which then turned green from orange. Hard...

The link of the graph in my previous post is of LFP. It shows 3.2V at 20% SOC.

Starting the battery Health at 4.3% SOC. Pack voltage says 340V and cells average 3.2V. Doesn’t that indicate 20% SOC based on the graph I have seen? If the 4.5% buffer is taken account, 8.8% should be below 3.1V at cell level.

The Energy screen now has the number of miles lost while parked so the car has the ability to count the idle energy loss. I think that can be used to calculate expected SOC from NFP.

Went to the service menu this morning and looked at the battery screen. It said my battery health is 100%. I am sure it will drop after I perform the actual test tonight.

the last full charge said 243 but SMT app said 241 so you are right in the middle 😀.

Model 3 SR+ LFP Battery Range, Degradation, etc Discussion

Replying myself 12 months and 13,700 miles later. Nominal Full Pack (NFP) is down to 52.4 kWh. ~4.7% degradation. Energy Buffer (EB) is at 2.38 kWh, if I recall it was 2.5 kWh reserved before. Tomorrow after work, my SOC will be down to 6% (if no errand) and I will be starting the battery...

I just got 2022.36.5. It may take a week before I use up all the miles and then start the battery test. My last 100% charge indicated 243 miles. I will see if BMS could calibrate and change this value.

I was going to drive until 5-10% remaining to do the test. That should allow quicker discharge and after ending the test I would have 100% charged. I wonder how the car would discharge, perhaps by preconditioning the battery pack.

Ok, I want to do use the Battery Health Test in 2022.36.2 service menu but I have not gotten the push yet. Anyone with LFP battery gotten it? I have 2021 “Performance” SR+ with LFP.

We got our cars about the same time. I only have 11k miles. My full charge is also down to 244 miles (from 253). This may be natural calendar aging of LFP. ScanMyTesla said my full capacity now is 52.6 kWh (55.1 when new). Lifetime efficiency is 209 Wh/mi. I used to charge to 100% until I go...

I must've missed it but where does it say effective from 7/25/22? Edit: Found it in the T&C.
