    Vehicle may not restart errors

This is crazy we have to pay $1k for crap that must be replaced purely because of the warranty failure, so how on earth are we being forced to pay that out of pocket and it not be covered by the warranty that forced its replacement? Has anyone had this happen without paying for the harness? I'm...

Tesla Model S 75D 2018 battery heater and other components

Thanks yeah, and seems it should be a separate error for the battery heater, but I'm just getting that cabinPTCHeater error, with cabin heat working, but battery heating not working. Suppose I'll just wait until something really fails to throw the correct error. Or take the frunk apart and...

Tesla Model S 75D 2018 battery heater and other components

Is this a thing in some where the same PTC heater does cabin and coolant vs. a separate battery heater? GEN3 PTC LEFT HAND DRIVE SERVICE, MS LEGACY OK to replace 6007385-00-*. 1041265-00-F I get a PTC error (on a 2015, d0015_cabinPTCHeater), but cabin heat works fine, though battery heating...

Wow, can't get much better of a reply than that, thanks a ton!

Model S Air Conditioning Leak - O rings?

Hey folks, I've got a leak in the AC Refrigerant system, and on inspection (take out the frunk and look vs. pay Tesla 200 bucks), can see a clear leak where the AC line meets the Condenser on the passenger side. This is a 2017 Model S, btw, using R1234yf refrigerant, not that it matters on the...

Steering Mode - P100DL in Sport lighter than P85D+ in Normal

Thanks for the input. I'll have both in my hands shortly, and will downgrade each's firmware and try removing/adding Plus suspension config to see the effect. And then do a full suspension swap between the cars, moving the P85D+ air struts, swaybar, dampers, etc. to the P100DL. Dampers are a...

    Gateway config non-factory model option?

Hey folks, I'm looking to swap a full Plus air suspension from a P85D into a 2017 P100D, but thinking the Plus suspension gateway config controls the electronic weight of the steering (Sport, etc. are much lighter in the P100D vs. the P85D). Of course Plus suspension wasn't an option on 2017s...

WARNING For Those Installing Aftermarket Arms, Links, etc such as N2itive, Mountian Pass, etc.

Clunking in front is usually upper control arm (really the ball joint), or the lower control arm's (the single one usually) bolt being a little loose.

    Long term maintenance 100k+ miles

Upper control arms, certainly, the ball joints fail, you'll hear a clunk. They're cheap, less than $100 each. Lower control arms also a good possibility as the rubber wears past 100k miles. Also 100 bucks or less parts cost. Besides suspension? 12V battery. Windshield wiper linkage (bushing...

EAP with HW 3, real world benefit FSD in Europe / Netherlands?

EU stop signs? What are you on about? They work flawlessly the same as in the US, because they're practically the same as the US. Oh look, modifications written via Germany: ADAS 22-12 (Germany) Comments to ADAS-22-02Rev1.docx - Transport - Vehicle Regulations - UNECE Wiki Everything from...

EAP with HW 3, real world benefit FSD in Europe / Netherlands?

So annoyed at VW, BMW, Mercedes regulatory capture of EU market making the laws keep everything nerfed until their pathetic cars can catch up a little bit. Their software houses are so incredibly far behind it will be years, so we get junk features and a 2015 experience while they try and catch...
