I use a single 1up rack and it clears the truck with no issue. When I need to carry two bikes I just bolt on the attachment.

Yea the rapid flashing of the turn signals was annoying me more than the fault messages.

There is one other issue I have too. With the rack in the upright position (no bike) I frequently get fault messages on my screen of a sensor blocked or dirty. Then after a while I will get a Park assist unavailable fault and it will shut the whole system down. I know the rack is doing it...

I’ve tried trailer mode with the bike rack and it’s worse than just hearing the alerts in reverse. In trailer mode you can’t use autopilot. Also not sure if you have noticed. If you’re in trailer mode and you put the turnsignal on. It flashes at twice the rate. Kinda like cars that have a bulb...

My Tesla OEM hitch is a class 3

I believe the 160lbs limit is do to the vehicle and not the hitch. Also that hitch you mentioned has a 525# tongue weight limit. That is much different than vertical limit. I also carry 2 e-bikes but I remove the batteries to keep me under the limit

Most of the time I have a mountain bike on the back or on the roof. My OEM tires lasted about 25k.
