Will MX fit in my garage?

I have wall cabinets 40" above the floor in my Garage and I want to check if the front of Model X will fit under the cabinets. Can anyone advise the min / max height of Model X. I think a height measurement 15" in from the front of the car would be fine ie aligned to the front edge of the tire?

Oh this is fantastic news Dave. Congratulations. Looking at your pics you must have used cruise control right? Love the right of passage part to the story as well. Look forward to hearing more about your pre-trip research as well!

Best Route for 400 mile Challenge

I can throw in some additional data points that may help anyone interested in this: Folsom Harris Ranch - trip | EveryTrail shows the elevation profile for my route. 1. Just myself (165lbs), no luggage or passengers 2. 21" wheels, tires were marginally "scrubbed in" with 250 miles on clock...

    Westerndh's Model S pick up & Elon's 400 mile single charge challenge

40 mph is too fast for this challenge. I found I achieved lowest consumption at 25mph. 30 - 35mph was about 5% more consumption.... I'd love to say I was king of anticipating stop signs, but I found different towns use different settings for their signals, making it quite tricky to anticipate...

    Westerndh's Model S pick up & Elon's 400 mile single charge challenge

Yes I would love to. My route plan had a total elevation gain and loss of 1,000 feet, Harris Ranch is close to some pretty steep grades, so I was avoiding that. For sure I'd borrow some 19" wheels and find a route that really allowed a constant slow speed. I would not attempt this on a freeway...

I've seen so many wonderful posts & video's (thanks Cinergi), I thought I'd post pics of 36 hours of getting to know my Model S Signature this weekend which included an attempt at Elon's 400 mile single charge challenge. Of course delivery day started a long time ago with this simple reminder...

    Model S Insurance

I live in LA, shopped around and no one could beat my current carrier, Encompass for $1,350 / 1 year with 250/500 with $500 deductible incl uninsured & 100 prop damage. Progressive, AAA, All State were all considerably higher. Odd thing was original quote was $1,629 but when the policy was...
