Just picked my car up from the Syosset SC on Long Island, identical issue, same alerts although in my case it was also a reduction of acceleration. Overall cost was slightly more due to labor but the part cost was identical.

It appears you've won the race as my car is still at the SC with its inability to connect to bluetooth :). Here is a screenshot of my invoice from the SC which also lists the MCU as a REMAN - 2019-05-22_2110.

Glad I read the response from Bruce! Was at the Syosset SC yesterday and the MCU was indeed replaced this time but the trunk/frunk did not open from the app which the tech fixed within an hour or so. However, there was another issue... May be I got lucky, not sure but this is the way it worked...

I second Snow Drift's take on the matter. Although the more chargers the better, the EA initiative requires CHAdeMO for a Tesla and is also a paid service (for older MS, SC is free which is a great perk for early adopters and CPO buyers).
