2018 Issues - Stability Control Disabled, Front Motor Disabled, etc.

btw not trying to be demanding, sorry if the tone is off. I meant more like -- how sure are you that it is the autopilot computer, because if you are sure I can tell the service center that and I can request a replacement.

Pretty sure? Which one? I doubt this is an at home replacement... What should I ask the service center to do? (since they couldn't figure it out last time)

Posting here as my car was in the service center for 4 full days and they were unable to diagnose. They *only* charged me $210... And now they want me to bring car back, but if they couldn't find the problem the first time... My 2018 Tesla Model 3 AWD w/FSD has been having issues for the last 6...

Home Energy Use Discrepancy Emporia vs

My home usage is consistently different between Emporia vue on my circuit breaker panel vs what tesla reports. Average Emporia use is about 70 kWh per day and from tesla is about 80 kWh. Utility seems to more closely match tesla, but it's hard to tell because of net metering. On an...

New Solar/Powerwall Install Colorado Springs, Wait for PTO?

Why not just disconnect from grid and/or use tesla off grid mode? To prevent solar from pushing anything back to the grid.

New Solar/Powerwall Install Colorado Springs, Wait for PTO?

I think that is what it is. Good point, I'll wait. Not worth the risk. Thank you!

New Solar/Powerwall Install Colorado Springs, Wait for PTO?

Oh geez. Big typo. My system IS configured to charge powerwall from solar, but when the tesla installers left they turned the solar system off. The powerwalls are still operational at this time. Yeah definitely don't want to back feed I agree.

New Solar/Powerwall Install Colorado Springs, Wait for PTO?

My system is not configured to allow solar to charge the powerwalls, since I do not have a powerwall+ (I have two powerwall 2s). Tesla said I would be able to operate in self-consumption mode if i had a powerwall+, but that I can't do off-grid mode with what I do have, since off-grid mode could...

New Solar/Powerwall Install Colorado Springs, Wait for PTO?

My Tesla solar/powerwall installed finished last week. 18kW solar and 2 Powerwalls (Not powerwall+). Two Tesla inverters. Assuming all goes well, it'll be 6ish weeks before I have permission to operate. My utility, Colorado Springs Utilities, states in interconnection agreement basically that...

    Other Owners in Wyoming?

I haven't seen any Model 3s in Cheyenne yet. But a while ago I saw two Model Ss outside one relatively average looking house. a 100D and an 85D I think. I remember thinking those two cars might've been worth more than the house they were parked in front of. I'm guessing it was just a slight...

Thoughts on winter wheels/tires - aftermarket or Tesla?

Any opinions about if it's bad/how bad it is to swap tires every winter? Does that significantly decrease longevity of the tires due to wear on the bead or anything like that?
