Premium Connectivity cost $9.99/month for many Model 3 versions

So obviously that was supposed to be $100 a year..... Hahaha

Premium Connectivity cost $9.99/month for many Model 3 versions

It was always going to be a paid subscription. The trial was supposed to end awhile ago but obviously it took them longer then expected to build the back end for this service. I took a test drive in June 2018 of a long range and was told about the subscription service being around $100 a month.

Premium Connectivity cost $9.99/month for many Model 3 versions

Same thoughts here. I don't have an issue with $10 a month (about the same as a tablet data plan) but I would prefer a yearly fee instead of per month....

Charge SR to 100% every time?

I usually charge my SR to 90% because my normal commute only uses about 30% battery but charging to 100% is not a concern at all. If you need the extra range, 100% is not an issue, otherwise 90% is a good number.

SR owners only (NOT SR+) What is your max range at 100% SOC?

If that is the case and depending on temp, the HVAC can easily consume the remaining 9kw. To me though it is not very useful to only measure driving consumption.... Total consumption is much more useable and what I thought the system was measuring.

SR owners only (NOT SR+) What is your max range at 100% SOC?

The kw used from my understanding should account for things like the cabin heater and other high voltage output. Not sure if it takes into account the 12v system but the 12v system is charged from the high voltage system so possibly but the 12v system should be a minimal draw. The assumption is...

SR owners only (NOT SR+) What is your max range at 100% SOC?

Mind if I ask why your battery was replaced? Pretty significant repair for a new vehicle...

SR owners only (NOT SR+) What is your max range at 100% SOC?

I am curious to know what this is based off of? Did you actually drive 100% to 0% where the car stopped driving and then recorded 190 at 212? At 212 wh/mi you should be getting close to 236 miles assuming a 50kw battery.

SR owners only (NOT SR+) What is your max range at 100% SOC?

Just charged to 100% yesterday. 216 miles reported. Everyone seems to be freaking out about how they have lost range..... Have you ever considered that the reading may be off? Has anyone actually drove from 100% down to 0% and recorded kw used and consumption rate? I doubt anyone has lost range...

All Tesla Models will get Range/Power increase (not just SR+) of 5%

I understand what your point is (have an SR so 220 rated miles). My point is that unless someone has recently confirmed through a real world range test or a controlled environment test that what the car is reporting in range on the battery meter is actually correct, we are all just making...

All Tesla Models will get Range/Power increase (not just SR+) of 5%

I have seen consumption rates as low as 186 wh/mi for a ~30 mile round trip... Unfortunately I am not going to see those numbers for another 6 months or so as the temperature has dropped into the 50-60s and will continue to decline... Just did a 90.3 mile commute today, 23kw used, 254 wh/mi...

All Tesla Models will get Range/Power increase (not just SR+) of 5%

Question for everyone complaining about their "lost range"... Have any of you actually done a real world range test or are you just taking the number the car gives at 100% as hard fact? Ever stop to think that your range never decreased but the way the car calculates range did change? My SR...

Has anyone upgraded SR to SR+?

Confirmed in this thread that the SR is top limited. Charging to 100% will result in a 90% physical state of charge. I charge mine to 90% for daily driving and routinely bump it to 100% whenever I feel I need that extra few miles since I know that even at a reported 100% I am only at 90% from a...

Has anyone upgraded SR to SR+?

    As recent as September 6th.

Has anyone upgraded SR to SR+?

I have not tried but I was told by my SA during the order process for my SR that it would be just the difference in model cost ($3990) plus tax difference. The upgrade will make the car a complete SR+ so all features that come standard on SR+ will be included (AP included).
