Windshield tint will help with chipping and breakage?

    1. Likely coincidence 2. Maybe more pebbles on the road these days 3. Maybe windshield glass might be weaker overall in recent years I've had cars for 15 years and never had rock chips until about 5 years ago. Two on my 2016 C300 and two on my M3. Rock hits on the M3 are very loud but seem to...

Model 3 demo car with 4k miles - worth buying?

I've never heard of test drives without a sales rep present. But Tesla will lend a car to someone for an overnight "test drive" sometimes. However 3700 miles on a demo car is a lot. I was very encouraged to floor it on my test drive and I'd imagine most people do on their first drive as well...

Issues with aftermarket / non Tesla wheels

You won't have any issues with warranty but generally lowers your range 5-15% since OEM tires priority efficiency - assuming you're getting same size wheels and tires with more performance utlity. If you are going from 20s or 19s to 18s, or same size but lighter forged wheels, the range loss...

Doug's Tesla Model 3 got hit & run, but he caught it on camera

The professionals I've seen usually zoom onto a screw that has a reflection of this and enhance that. Works like a charm.

    New tires at 21,000 miles

I've been reimbursed on OEM tires. The guy you posted your link at got reimbursed. In every thread you post that link in people tell you they've gotten compensated yet you're in disbelief. You've made a Michelin tire warranty your personality.

    New tires at 21,000 miles

You've been posting this here for years yet time and time again when everyone tells you warranty reimbursements and credits are offered by Michelin even on OEM tires, for nearly everyone who requests them, you refuse to believe it every time. The power of disbelief is truly incredible.

$3500 price difference for Model 3 Long Range AWD vs Performance. Which one should I go with?

The Performance "stealth" with 18" aeros are no longer available. There was a time it was off menu and you could order it with a sales associate but don't think it's possible at this time either.

If you had to do it again, would anyone NOT get the white interior?

My biggest regret is not getting the white interior. I could get covers but all the ones I've seen had floppy edges that doesn't look great and is especially noticeable in white.

$3500 price difference for Model 3 Long Range AWD vs Performance. Which one should I go with?

$3500 for performance is a no-brainer for me but I definitely don't want the 20" wheels. Those probably sell for breakeven with a new set of 18s or 19s though.

Updated Suspension for 3 and Y that is 'in production' 10/17 and after

Doesn't aftermarket coilovers like MPP make the ride more comfortable and better handling even with minimal height lowering?

Getting new wheels and tires with no $120 BT TPMS sensors. What error will display?

Agreed, it's a necessary cost IMO. If you get a nail in your tire it can most likely be fixed but not if driven at a low enough PSI and without TPMS telling you it will probably be too low and unrepairable by the time you notice.

    Llumar IRX Heat Rejection issue?

Heat rejection definitely works and one of the best purchases I made for my car. Before tints I always kept AC under 70F because it would never reach anyway. After tints it would get too cold after 30 mins and I'd have to raise the temp.

Not only that, the steering wheel is also pointing at her neck like says it shouldn't.

Can you dremel a notch into it then try to pry it out with a flathead and hammer?

    Tesla Vision on HW2.5 cars?

This is a bit off-topic but are you being charged for your HW3 upgrade? I've seen a few posts saying they were given $0 estimates and got it for free. If that's the case I might still get my 2.5 upgraded.
