In four months I've never received a software update? Anything I can do?

I had not received v9 even though it had been rolled out months earlier. I call the local SC and they checked and discovered that the load had failed (wifi issue) but the system does not automatically retry. They re-pushed the update and I installed it that afternoon.

    Alignment specs attached

Woops, originally commented thinking it was front and therefore thought it was a Camber adjustment. Removed original post.

First Post - I bought a Tesla after 10 years of dreaming!

I have a solution for your problem. I have a P85D and from the start I have kept the key in the money pocket of my trousers. It is never forgotten and cannot be left in the car. This may not be as good a solution to you but it has worked a treat for me for almost 2 years.

Why regenerative braking belongs on the brake pedal

I am 64 and have been racing since my 20's. I have experienced every example used by OP and am totally familiar with controlling all of the issues raised. My racing has mainly been tarmac rally with lots of club sprints and a few circuit races. My experience includes rallies such as Targa...

Anyone else not care about video games and farts in their car?

At 64 and a software developer for the past 35 years I would like to offer my 2c worth. There have been many occasions over the years that I have come up against extremely difficult problems that have frustrated me over extended periods. A long term friend in the industry advised me early in my...

I think you will find that this was not from my post.

    Crushing Rear-Seat Passengers

I think this is a great idea. A setting for normal driving, a setting for easy entry/exit WITHOUT rear passenger and a setting for easy entry/exit WITH rear passenger. The choice of the last two being decided based on the seat sensor being activated. If there is no need for the WITH rear...

Anyone else not care about video games and farts in their car?

I am 64 and I have 3 grandchildren. I LOVE the eggs. The kids use the doodle pad all the time and I occasionally put on the Christmas eggs at this time of year, particularly for people who have not seen it before. I am not really interested in the game on v9 but the Emission Testing has my...

    Owner Frustrated with Tesla Depreciation

Wow, I am lucky to be living in Australia. I purchased my CPO P85D just under 2 years ago when it was 18 months old and had only 5,000km on the clock. At that point it had depreciated by approximately 18% (in 18 months from approx. A$190,000). I purchased it for A$156,000 22 months ago (and...

Tesla 3 isn't perfect, but after a full day rental this BMW driver is buying one!

I just finished reading this entire thread and found it a great read. My only submission would be that I keep my MS P85D key fob in the money pocket of my trousers. The only time I ever actually touch it is when I change my trousers and it works wonderfully every time I approach the car. It...

How reliable is your Model S?

I was a BMW man for almost 30 years. Started with an e34 535is, moved on to an e34 M5 then to 2 e36 M3s and my last new BMW was an extremely limited edition e36 M3R.Craving more power I purchased an already modified e39 M5 with a supercharger developing approx 370kw (500hp) at the rear wheels. I...

    Driving to Bathurst

Thanks for that. Even though I've had the car for 20 months I am still learning.

    Driving to Bathurst

I had absolutely no idea they were there. My nav system did not show them or I would have stopped and added a little extra to be sure and it would have avoided a lot of embarrassment in Bathurst. I will definitely be going to Bathurst again for either the 12 hour or the 1000, so A BIG THANKYOU...

    Driving to Bathurst

The distance on the route I chose is 303km and I started with around 375km range. My guess is the trip to Bathurst is about 70% uphill or flat with very little downhill regen. The trip back was easy and I arrived at Gundagai with around 70km range even though I was driving at the full 100kph...

    Driving to Bathurst

I have done the Bathurst trip from Melbourne in my P85D 3 times. The last leg from Gundagai to Bathurst is mostly up hill and the first 2 times I arrived at Mt Panorama with around 5-8% remaining. Unfortunately this left me feeling a little over-confident and this time I drove a little too...

    Rear Facing Seats Wanted

My biggest issue in installing 3 seats is the really deep indents on the rear bench seat which tend to force the seats inwards on an slight angle, pushing the outer seats onto the centre seat. Another other option is to have some inserts made up that fill the bench seat indents to make the...

    Rear Facing Seats Wanted

Hi all, I am in Australia and there are simply none around here. I have a 2015 P85D, which I love more than any car I have ever owned, including BMW M3's and M5's, and I take care of my grandchildren regularly. My daughter has informed me she is having her 3rd child in November and trying to...

    tesla specific suggestion email?

I don't want to hijack this but it seems a logical place to add a suggestion to Tesla. I would really like the cruise control to automatically adjust to changes in speed limit. If I am currently set at the automatic setting (Speed Limit +/- nn) change it. If I have set a manual speed limit...
