I would let them go and buy some (50%) shares back higher, 20 or 30 dollar is nothing if you’ll hold them long term. Sell puts with the other 50%. If we rocket higher you gain twice, should we go down you can maybe buy back 50% at a lower strike by getting the puts assigned.

Chances are big we don’t reach 180 at 5/05 close, but it’s still a long way and 60% in such a short time span is too much to ignore. In Q1 I kept a 150CC before earnings and we all know how that turned out. Then again, keep on rolling it would’ve made it almost closable by now 🧐

Just bought back 05/05 180 CC for 0.62 (sold for 1.55 last Friday) or 60% gain. Grabbing what I can and 60% in 2 days for a contract that expires only next week is a no brainer. Opens up the shares again for new opportunities.

Very good advice. Premiums are low right now, so you might be tempted to take higher risks. I prefer going a bit further (2 weeks) for a higher strike and better premium. Of course there are more days til expiry, but if you can sell several contracts, you can alternate.

It’s only Belgium, I know, but other countries may follow: I saw several news items being more positive about the way Tesla handles their business right now. Model Y best selling car isnt’t bad either… But I know margin narrative will stay an issue for WS…
