Anyone else finding their Qi charging disappointingly slow?

It’s slow and inefficient yes. Won’t charge like a wireless Samsung fast charger for galaxy phones not will it charge as fast as a MagSafe for iPhones. It’s mainly just charges enough to keep it where it is. I believe it’s only 5watts

    Cabin overheat protection in Arizona

Vent the windows when in garage. Cabin overhear is only for the cabin. The bms handles the battery temps. Keep it plugging so it won’t use the battery.

What is wrong with my X?

Not sure what what the sound was but the doors rubbing is normal. It’s a design issue. You likely just noticed it now cuz you were looking for something. Tesla will just put some like ppf tape where it rubs and call it a day

    HomeLink DIY install

Yea you definitely need the remote as you would with any home link in any car. It copies the signal your remote sends. So you have to let it read and duplicate it.

    HomeLink DIY install

1: Prices are up because ownership/popularity is up. Anything less than 350+ tax is a win but true the prices are getting up there. 2: yea they are typically from model 3s that shipped with them up to 2020. Or model s/x 3: anything can fail. If it does you swap it out like anything else. Once...

    HomeLink DIY install

If you have another issue use that to get them out to you. Easier that way. I don’t have any other issues with my car so I went the route of taking them I had it moved from my previous model 3. They denied me the first time. Ac week later I tried again and said I was gifted one and included a...

    Model Y tint pictures

35% rear hatch and rear passengers 15% front nothing on windshield cuz I don’t like how dark it makes AZ roads at night. Plus I’m bound to get the windshield fixed every year with these rock chips on highways here.

Charging Goes from 32A to 16A

I have this issue because the temp outside combined with the heat on the UMC trips the temp sensor and it lowers the amps. I live in AZ so I have to charge in the evenings and overnight. In short; outside temp also matters

    HomeLink DIY install

Correct the more difficult part is getting a tech to do it. Best was is typically talk to a tech at a actual SC or have a mobile service appt set for something else and ask the tech when he’s there. Be chummy and offer a drink or something. Then casually ask them. Mention you pulled it from your...

Weather proofing mobile charger? Bad idea?

Yea I’m just paranoid because it’s my sole option to charge U til I move. The manual states it doesn’t need to vent. It I’m guessing you mean air flow as in wind to help cool it.

Weather proofing mobile charger? Bad idea?

Warning: Protect the Mobile Connector from moisture, water and foreign objects at all times. I read the manual several times and this statement was my reasoning behind the bag. Lol. ITV also says ventilation is not needed. So a bad trapping heat doesn’t seem likely. I’m doing she’s about the...
