Vin received, got a call and a confirmed date for the 8th…. Did I remember reading somewhere through this novel of a thread that if you call and question the rate through Tesla, they may lower it?

I got a July 24th - August 6th EDD about four days ago but each day was pushing the first date out. Like July 25th - Aug 6th, July 26th-Aug 6th, etc. Left me excited…..like at least the Aug date wasn’t moving…until today; July 27th - Aug 7th. Someone’s toying with my emotions.

Same boat…so what I am gathering is when the SA reaches out to you in order to deliver a car faster, no charge…..but if you request it, buckle up.

24/7 blank leaves me with nothing to even lie to myself about…. I would rather they say July and blow it….just like that 8-12 weeks, and then June, and then June 21-28, and then….uhhhh blank for weeks now.

Having a similar issue. I havent found an outlet. As it stands, if I change the color request on an order from March, on a car they have not made yet, promised a delivery date (currently blank), nor assigned to me, they want $10k more….

I’m being told from my SA that it does, but there are folks on here that claim to have accomplished this without the increase…. I ordered the MSM, but the black caught my eye…

Was this for the Plaid and, if so, did you get surcharged based on the price increase for changing your configuration? Asking for a friend…

I was picking up that is HAS been done before…trying to find precedent. I’ve seen a lot of “ok I’ll upgrade to 21s for earlier delivery dates” and none reference getting surcharged but can’t exactly piece this together. Thanks again!
