It's not really about how Tesla "values" their cars. They are NOT in the business of selling used cars, period. That's clearly reflected in the prices they offer anyone trying to trade in a car.

Same here - I'm also in Canada (close to Toronto to be specific) Always got a loaner. Twice it was a Tesla, but the remaining 5 or so times (in the last 4 years), I've been able to get a Model S loaner.

IMO, light and sporty is not yet in the cards for an EV. Batteries are heavy , they account for about 1000 lbs of the Model S's weight. Swapping out wheels, tires, hood, etc is just getting on the diminishing returns train.

Some of the review is not completely off (sub par brakes, no stalks, steering ratio not setup correctly for a yoke etc), but overall it seems biased against the Plaid mainly around driving dynamics. The dynamics or lack thereof seems to be the primary focus of the review. I guess that's not...
