They are using 2170 cells so I don't think they got those from a 100D. The body isn't carbon so there's that. And they're using someon elses motors .Actually because of their efficiency and improved aero they will use fewer cells then Tesla.

MCU1 cars have had the dashcam funcion for some time now. The output is now saved to the USB drive, in the TeslaCam folder, automaticlly in the event of an emergency instead of having to do it manually.

Just had mine replaced by the service center and they did a fine job. There is really no after market because they have to get the glass from tesla anyhow. Then the service center has to calibrate the cameras after replacement anyhow. It cost $932 through the service center. You can then make a...

The button stayes on the car page but the safety score disappears from the app. It appears that you opt back in when you want and start over.

Human drivers have a big problems with unprotected left turns. Over one third of the vehicle accidents involve unprotected left turns and over 40% of the motorcycle accidents involve unprotected left turns. There is a reason why UPS doesn't make unprotected left turns.

Try formatting your drive in your computer using a third party app to FAT32. Make sure that you create a file named "TeslaCam". Capital T and capital C. Yes case does matter.

This is pure FUD. If you remove the weight in the driver seat the car shuts down and goes into park. This didn't happen as reported.

Good luck trying to find the turn signal while your turning the steering wheel.

Try reformatting your drive. Then check it to make sure it contains the TeslaCam folder .Remember to unplug your USB ports before installing a software upgrade or doing a reset. Once your done reinsert your UBSs. Following these procedures has solved my USB problems.

Has anyone installed software update 2020.48.35? If so can you tell us what it fixes and what it breaks?

It appears to be a software bug. It began with one of the updates late last fall. I've even had a notification to remove and reinsert the USB drive with nothing plugged into the USB ports. Guess we'll have to wait for Tesla to fix the problem.

It was covered under the warrantee. The technician drove the vehicle several times during the procedure.

If your steering wheel is still off center they did not do the complete alignment properly. This is a well known problem with the Model 3. You are correct about the Model S headlights as they were adjusted at the factory. 3 clicks up adjustment each side and they go from crap to some of the best headlights on the road. I have both a Model 3 and a Model S so I can compare them.

Sorry about that . My Model 3 has a reset TPMS sensor button on the service page. I thought the Model Y would too. Good luck.

Air up all the tires to the pressure shown on the placard, then reset the TPMS sensors ( button in the menu, I believe under service). See what that does.

The dashed line showing reduced regen should be yellow on the Model 3 like it is on the Model S.

Why is the restricted regen yellow in the Model S and grey in the Model 3?

There are no visualizations required for FSD. They are currently presented to impress you but are not required. If the car is driving itself you don't need them, and if you are driving you don't need them. A car with MCU1 and a AP3 computer can do FSD.

I just got the notification with nothing plugged into the USB ports. 2018 Model 3 LR. Software 2020.48.26.

When you have a vibration in the steering wheel as described, 90% of the time it's either the tire or wheel. The car needs to be taken to someone who can check the tire balance and the wheel runout to find the problem.

Both companies you cited failed because they failed to innovate. I don't think the same can be said of Tesla.

How do you hurt a car maker who has more demand for their product than they can meet with their production? I believe that Tesla will continue to sell every EV they can build and Ford may sell a few too.

Didn't bother to file a claim. Wasn't worth the bother.

My wife did the same thing. The fender is steel so I took it to my local body shop and they fixed it like new for about $800. No muss no fuss. Hope this helps.
