EDD is tightening up - Nov 28-Jan 9. Since it looks like it will be a Dec delivery and that’s when incentives start. Could I create a new order for the same car on the day of pickup and reject delivery and ask them to reassign the order?

I no it’s for the whole loan. You just have to complete the loan in the first 90 days of opening an account or getting membership. But you may not get a full 1% off since the floor for auto loans is 3.99% currently.

Even if they go up a little bit (there’s wiggle room) you get a 1% discount. There’s room for a 0.5% increase for 60 months and 0.35% for 72 months. 3.99% floor. Even if it goes up 0.25% like in the past, everyone should be good.

Same I was told 30 days. Which is fine as long as the rate doesn’t go up too much since you get a 1% discount but the floor is 3.99

Looks to be only a 30 day rate lock, so don't apply until you get a VIN or closer to EDD That is correct as of today you can get 3.99% for 72 months and include taxes, title, etc. Total you can borrow is 125% of MSRP. Anyone can join by making a $5 contribution to a charity listed on their site.

Same my Y is at 1.24% at DCU and have an X incoming. Wonder when the best time to open an account with them? I still have 60-75 days or so before delivery.

You can ask the bank or credit union to overnight the check to you. That’s what I did when I picked up the Y. I had to send a picture of it to Tesla.

Rebate goes off MSRP even if they discount demos to below $80k it won't qualify

Lots of demo vehicles near me several under $80k would those qualify for tax rebate? I assume they would since they are never titled.

Find it strange if I order today it shows Nov-Dec delivery but I placed an order on 9/22. EDD updated last week and now shows 11/29 - 1/24/24. I would think Tesla would now show Dec - Jan 2024 for my zip code but it still shows Nov-Dec.

I would think they would want to push as many of the sub $80k LR models to get delivered this quarter. As the $7500 rebate may change starting in 2024 and that may cause some to cancel their orders.

Hope it comes before year end

Yes it was left outside. It’s over 30 days now. Took 2 months to repair a small scratch and dent on rear hatch.

I have the same issue. Installed it and then my car was at the body shop to get the rear hatch replaced. Got it back today and I have the same spot on the top right and bottom left. I guess I’ll have to reach out for replacement.

Yes it installed fine and no issues. It removed the plaid animation but I hated it to begin with. I’ve asked them to update the font to match the Tesla system font.

Is the wiring the same for the 4 inch screen and the 5 inch screen? I have the 4 and might be upgrading to the 5 if it’s as simple as swapping the part that’s on top of the steering wheel.

Electrician had a meter that clamps to the wire connected to breaker. Car says 40 meter reads 50. Car says 48 meter was reading 59. Voltage is around 237-239V

Nothing too warm. I did see the wall unit was around 100 degrees and the charger connected to the car was running around 70-75. The breaker is Luke warm at best.

It is closer to 50. I’m going to try to get a replacement from Tesla and see how that one does.

He came back out and retorqued everything. It’s a 6 gauge wire. I compared it to the 8 gauge. The weird thing is when it’s set to 48amp and charging for 1-2 mins it’s reading 59amps at the breaker. Roughly 4-5 mins later it trips. I’m charging at 40amps on the 60amp breaker now. Been working...

Worked fine all night on 50 amp breaker. Tried 2 new 60 amp breakers.

Wall connector gen 3. I had it set to 60amp from the web settings when it was connected to the 60 amp breaker. I was able to charge the car overnight on the 50amp breaker no issues. Set the charger to 50 amp in web settings as well. We tried 2 new 60 amp breakers.

Got my wall connector installed today by a local electrician. They had to run about 25-30 feet of wire. I am assuming it’s Romex but I know it’s 6 gauge wiring. It’s connected to a 60amp breaker. I did not plug the car in while they were finishing up. But when I did 2-3 hours later it would work...

The Model Y has a weird issue with reflection. Anything white or bright or shiny will reflect onto the tinted window and block 70% of the mirror. It’s a real pain in the ass. See pic… I went with matte carbon. I’m sure that’s why he’s asking. Next time you can just google model y and...

True it does fit my 2022 Y. The side caps are built in. I think prior to sometime in 21 they were 2 side pieces that detached. I think if you remove the piece and use the all new dash it may work. I don’t know what else would be different.
