Well, the UK rollout seems to have stalled! Yesterday it looked like a massive rollout had begun and I was hopeful of the update on my (non-FSD) M3 but it looks like it went to a lot of cars in the States and has slowed again. Does anyone without FSD have this update yet?

Well, just a little bit of an update. This morning I noticed the warning had gone and I tried opening the port by touching it and it worked as it should. This afternoon I've had the warning on again but it still opens when you touch it!

It's not normally as harsh/brutal as the wind from windows and also some people can't use a/c for medical reasons/dislike of the dehumidifying effect. I do like a sunroof but more for the light a full glass roof brings, which we obviously get from the 3 anyway.

I agree, that and Apple CarPlay are the only things I like when I go back in our Mercedes, but I do think the Model 3 lights are actually brighter.

I haven't checked but did think of that, thought that was Model S only though?

That's great but personally I'd have kept the P-, you will miss the power (not that the LR is slow!) and also I'd say it would hold its value better in the long run being such a rare beast.

Sorry, not the car. Most houses in UK are single phase, I was thinking if they had 3 phase it would ease some demand on rapid chargers.

Good points that I hadn't realised. Some older Tesla's charged at 22kW and I think new S and X are 16kW but going forward building new EVs with that ability could happen. Much more to it than you think!

Just a thought, obviously solar, battery storage and heat pumps have been talked about but should we have 3 phase? My reasoning Ali's that if EVs were made to charge at 22kW that would reduce home charging times significantly, easing the use of public network rapids. It would also mean that if...

Hi, is anyone currently having an issue with teslafi? I've just checked and it's not logged anything for about 3 hours. The car is at home, charging and connected to Wi-Fi. The Tesla app is working fine, I've logged out and back in to teslafi but it's still the same. Not sure what else I can try?

I've done nearly 5000kWh DC charging and can't say I've noticed any issues but I've never used a V3 although I do have a service appointment for next Thursday at Stockport so I'll see if I can make sure I'm at a low SOC so I can see what it hits!

The only thing I use extra is teslafi but that's not an app. Could it be something to do with apple clamping down on the use of third party APIs?

No but also remember if you want to buy a repair kit you will need the compressor/pump and the plugs to repair as a can of sealant won't work with the acoustic foam tyres that are standard fitment.

Ah ok, I seemed to remember something about only 1 data source but only used my ssd for sentry/dashcam so have never tried.

If you are not currently using TACC and engage it, does it still default to what the maps think is the speed limit, or does it use what the cameras think is the limit or current speed? I'd love it to set at the current speed but I'm doubtful that's the case.

I'm guessing that'll be very hard to sort. My e class also does this.

Ah even better, I thought we needed to manually intervene to get around the Mobileeye patent.

It's nearly a year since I got my car but I'm sure, unless things have changed, that you can only have 1 storage device and if you want to store music you need a separate folder to sentry. I don't store music as I prefer Apple Music from my phone.

Hi, I have seen that Luton Airport has destination chargers on level 2 but it also states that 30 minutes parking is reduced to £2 but how do you get the reduced price? Thanks

Just for a laugh I got a valuation from webuyanycar and after 11 months and 33k my white/black M3 Performance without FSD was coming up as £45k! I know the new cost has gone up substantially but I was pleasantly surprised by it!

I think that's just for Model 3, I'm sure S&X have a dedicated AP/TACC stalk on the left but I'm not sure how it operates.
