Lots of questions about the hitch..Thought I'd trow a few pictures up...Let me know if you have any questions.... Very easy to install turn a key, pull out and rotate a rotating wheel 90 degrees....put in place...everything locks tight...lock and take out key...

Weight limit is 200lbs for the hitch...The 2 bike rack weight is 60lb and the 4 bike rack weighs 96lbs...so even with 4 carbon bikes you should be under the 200lb limit

Mark...I have the same sig red and the same look of the inside of the Frunk hood (even being able to see the white undercoat thru the rectangular holes....) I was told this pattern saves weight providing more range...paint not really any issue for me...

From very very preliminary and limited data, it seems to increase the power use (reduce the range) by about 10% with the rack and 2 bikes on it... I will be collecting more data to get a more meaningful number over the next couple months...

There is a spring loaded, finger rotatable ball screw that locks the lever bar into position so the lever bar will not accidentally become disengaged from the detents in which it sits. It is probably not needed as the lever bar is also spring loaded and likely would not move, but the ball screw...

You do need to push firmly in to locations about 16 inches apart...but it closes easily...

The frunk holds double 119's, an 80 and a 40 deco cylinder...plus more for gear... Anyone know where I can get a good liner?? Probably not out yet... And perhaps this heavy compressed gas is best not being transported in the frunk in case of frontal collision : )

FYI..Tesla did not say anything about copyright...After reading all the issues with copyright materials on the forums and then seeing a copyright in the manual. I decided it was best that I not include pitures of the manual in case someone may have had issues with it. So measurements were made...

PaulR...Thanks for the info...I believe the X has some different sensors than the S...The door sensors are beneath the metal and there are no "dots" that show where the sensor is actually located. These are the ones I'm most concerned with...

The drivers door did a good job sensing surrounding objects and stopping appropriately (with me ready to manually stop if necessary) I wanted to make sure I can manually stop the fwd manually before I took that step...was too busy playing with all the other cool features

Mark..There may be issues with shipping companies...but I am experiencing the same run a round with a factory delivery....In my mind there are still infancy issues that need to be resolved and they want to deliver cars that will meet expectation (albeit without meeting delivery expectations)...
