It's not taboo, it's that it's been asked, answered, and if you ask the same question again, you'll get the same answer. It makes a hell of a lot more sense for service stations, fast food chains and shopping centres to build charging networks, than it does for a vehicle manufacturer.

Two things: 1) We don't have high standards for the other manufacturers 2) We don't want every manufacturer to build their own separate charging network. Tesla *had* to, because in 2013 no-one else was doing it. And everyone else was so disinterested in it, that they grew to become the market...

So it looks like mostly regional locations, 4-8 stalls, and 150 kW units (or as low as 75 kW if sharing) - overall a great addition.

I don't do it either, but other people do, so it needs to be catered for.

EHT is doing similar - upgrading some older single stall Tritium sites with Kempower setups, transferring the Tritium equipment as secondary units at other sites. They do have $10k+ of Tritium parts on hand, and if this runs our I expect cannibalising for parts will be the next step...

EV section of the app totally broken: I was just opening it to check which sites were visible - last I checked, Katherine and Alice Springs were on it, but the off-grid sites (Erldunda and Nullarbor) were not.

Notice they are listed as 80 kW per unit, as opposed to 180 kW at Katherine. Maybe a temporary power supply related issue?

The issue that many people have reported with the iPhone app's "climate" page not showing defrost, camp, dog mode etc. appears to also affect the "location" page - where tapping on a supercharger location is supposed to display site details (usage, prices, etc). The map still scrolls to centre...
