I've never had to hold it down. All you do is tap the button and you can see the card come up with the green pulsating field around the microphone. Until this release, I had no problems with it hearing me. It acts very much like a software bug if the first command finishes/errors out.

Those tires have a foam strip on the inside of the tire to reduce road noise. I have the 18" MXM4s. But some road surfaces still create a lot of noise. Buy tires without the foam and the road noise will be much worse.

Actually it's.called V2H, Vehicle To Home. The Prius can be used for this. Takes minimal modifications to do it. The nature of Hybrids makes them ideal for this purpose.

I've manually tuned stations that were not being displayed. On road trips the radio really sucks for updating the stations list. Tesla really needs to up their game on this.
