Convertible Car Seats and the X

We originally started with Britax, the boulevard specifically, and found it was just too wide to work well in our cars (mostly Priuses), and we had a major issue on an airplane, the buckle was behind the seat, took 3 of us (including the pilot) working together to get it unbuckled. Every flight...

Convertible Car Seats and the X

Hi, We have not used these in the Tesla yet (X is on order), but have used them in multiple Priuses, as well as other vehicles. We love the Radian series, we purchased them as SunShine Kids, now it's Diono. They are narrow, do rear facing, front facing, and now booster (we used them...

Cannot afford the X with all the options. Thinking cut the AP 2.0...

We are probably going against the norm on this, but we went with both EAP2 and FSD. We placed our order with FSD, but I am treating that more as I would a kickstarter, we may or may not see anything useful from it, but I wanted the interest and the development $ to be there. That being said...

    Charge Point Etiquette ?

Personally I find around town charging to be almost useless especially if it costs $. We have a Plug-In Prius, which we did use the free charging at a local used book store a bit, when they moved to $, it was not worth the effort. The reason we used it was not the savings per say, it was to...

Factory Delivery and Tax implications for Out of State Owners

There can be an "extra" shipping fee on Inventory vehicles vs standard built to order. This Model X is available for pickup. Shipment to your nearest service center may require a transportation fee up to $1,500. Shipment to Alaska or Hawaii may cost up to $3,000. -Harry

Factory Delivery and Tax implications for Out of State Owners

Any information on if the California sales tax law passed? I have read the links, but when I search for SB 680 I get a completely different bill. We are considering an inventory model X (75 or 90) either December or March range, and would love to pick it up vs paying for it to be shipped to...

    Considering a Model X - Next year

My main concern is how long the 70D list will be once the 70 starts production, and if deferral will help keep a place in line. We are actually considering both a Model X and Model 3 reservation, though we would not be ready for the model 3 until 2018/2019 range. -Harry

    Considering a Model X - Next year

Hi, Been lurking for a long time, finally getting "close". We are considering a Model X, and will probably put down a reservation later this month. Our question (and yes, we will talk with Tesla) is that we will probably not be ready to purchase the 70D until ~March of next year. Will it be...

I echo the stay safe on your deployment. That being said, you should look and see if 2014 or 2015 will be better tax years for you with the EV tax credit. It may be worth your trouble to get a delivery late in 2014 if it's a better tax year for you.
