To be specific, the transit/bike lanes in the city are not HOV lanes. A green license plate will not help you there - even before July 1. The HOV lanes are only on the 400 series hwys as far as I am aware.

The best source of information regarding when you can realistically expect delivery is your local DS. But them - lots. That's their job and they do it well.

I got mine yesterday. So far so good. TAAC seems to be smoother, now have blind spot warning. Don't want to test emergency braking. Valet mode is there, but haven't tried it yet. Nav seems much better, still can't get to Halifax or Northern Michigan very easily, but at least it tells me that.

On the dryer outlet ... you might not need any extension as you get a charging cable and 220V adapter with the Tesla. On P85D ... that's what I have. I have never had anything closest to the fastest car on the road before, and I love it. Two negatives to consider; you get a little less range...

I have tried it. It shows lots of charging spots, but it's not clear as to how quickly or slow each stop will be. I was hoping that there are some Atlantic Canadians out there who know what the best spots are. Seems to me that I would be stopping for more than 4 hours most of the time.

My Delivery date is also Dec. 28. Scott (the DS) told me that car car is through the production line and going through QA and fine tuning. The Dash still says, in 'queue'. Having my HPWC installed tomorrow by JW Electric.

The advice is great - and Kalud, thanks for the generous offer. From everyone's feedback though, it looks like this might not be the most practical trip in the winter until there are more Superchargers in place. I might consider flying :(

I'm late to this thread, but my P85D is to be delivered to me in Toronto in the last week of December. Grey, tan, black headliner, Obece matt, new seats. No spoiler, no Interior Package. I don't expect to get any Boxing Day deal on it, But it will be a great pre New Year's present to myself.

They are delivering the P85Ds as early as December. The S85Ds won't come off the assembly line until late Feb.Too many $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to go for the 3.2 sec acceleration :(

I made the decision yesterday to change my order from an S85 to an S85D. It will delay my delivery from late November to probably March now. This hurts as the wait since late July has already been difficult. But the car will miss most of one winter - and who knows what other enhancements...
