Actually, the last two times we stayed there I literally did do a bunch of laps around the island. This last trip (the first without an ICE) we stayed at a place with an L2, so that made it easy.

Given how far it is from Bar Harbor (it's 20 miles / 32 minutes away from the place we stayed at this past summer), at least it's next to a grocery store. It would be preferable to have a SuC on MDI, but this is the next best thing.

That must be a new; when I did the swap to EV plates on my LEAF in 2014 there was no charge.

Back when I bought my LEAF, it came with regular plates. It took a trip to the Milford RMV and a 45 minute wait to swap them out for EV plates.

I drive up to Maine often, including to the Rockland/Camden area. I often stop at the Freeport SuC. Given the proximity of the existing Superchargers at Kennebunk, Portland, and Freeport, IMHO adding another just 15 miles further up Route 1 in Bath would be unhelpful to those making such a trip.

The nearest bathroom is in the L.L.Bean main store on the 2nd floor - it is the large building directly across the parking lot from the SuperCharger. It's a short walk, but you need to walk around the back of the building to get inside.

I use TeslaFi and I got a "Replace 12V battery soon warning" in my Model S, so that wasn't true for me. (That was at 3.5 years and the battery was replaced under warranty.)

My Model S only has AP2. The MCU2 upgrade enabled full Dashcam/Sentry. (IIRC, my FSD HW3 came in 2 months after the MCU2, since the HW3 was backordered. I'd have to look back up thread to doubt check that)

The MCU2 upgrade alone is sufficient to enable Sentry and Dashcam.
