"Acceleration Boost" option, discussion as to which models and how much quicker

Those are pretty good #'s. 3.59 sec with rollout and 1/4 mi time/mph is good also.

    Model 3 Performance Spacers

^This is exactly the answer. It's only the performance upgrade brake pkg Performance models NOT the "stealth" Performance model.

Most are happy with the Eibach springs as well. Some say that T-sportline are rebadged Eibachs.

    Stickers on painted rear calipers?

Just got my car back. I think it came out pretty good.

    Stickers on painted rear calipers?

I like that idea. Plus it would be a lot easier later to add stickers to the rear than to remove them.

    Stickers on painted rear calipers?

I'm getting my brake calipers painted red tomorrow. I have the stickers which consist of larger lettered TESLA, smaller lettered TESLA, and the Tesla emblem. I'm going to put the larger lettered TESLA on the front calipers. Which should I put on the rear calipers, small TESLA or the Tesla...

    Solved: wind noise

Not trying to be a PIA, genuinely curious. Even though the sugru isn't pushed up the A pillar, wouldn't it block the bottom of the A pillar opening and allow water to pool?

    Solved: wind noise

Isn't adding sugru basically the same as adding the foam?

Lowering Springs: TSportline vs Unplugged vs Eibach

I thought the Eibach springs were 0.9" front and 1" rear, basically the same as the T-Sportline?

    Aftermarket Wheels on Model 3

Most people say 15 front and 20 rear spacers is flush. Stock offset is +40. So that is like ET 25 front and 20 rear.

Technician's Choice Ceramic Detail Spray: It's like a ceramic Bead Maker

To me it looks like both the TW Seal & Shine and the TC CDS have more beading and faster sheeting of the water than the TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic spray coating.

Time for new tires on my dual motor

They are XL rated and since our cars top speed is 140 mph, they are fine. I actually just ordered these today and will have them installed next week.

Yeah. Shipping is crazy. Luckily I am only 30 minutes from them.

Technician's Choice Ceramic Detail Spray: It's like a ceramic Bead Maker

So can both TW S&S and TC CDS be layered? On each other? Can they be used after every car wash?
  22. R

Technician's Choice Ceramic Detail Spray: It's like a ceramic Bead Maker

It sounds like they are pretty comparable and basically a toss up. I think think I'll stick with S&S just so I don't have to worry about my microfibers. Any suggestions on how to bump up the gloss when using S&S? I have Meguiars D156 and Optimum Spray wax.

Technician's Choice Ceramic Detail Spray: It's like a ceramic Bead Maker

I've seen some of the you tube detailers dilute TC CDS 1:1 which would make it much cheaper than S&S. Any experience doing this and its effect on performance? Also, do you reuse your microfiber towels used for TC CDS, or any ceramic spray for that matter? I read mixed opinions on reusing them...

Technician's Choice Ceramic Detail Spray: It's like a ceramic Bead Maker

Looking at TyH2009's pictures, to me it seems like TW Seal and Shine held up better than TC CDS after washing the car. Thoughts?

Time for new tires on my dual motor

I called Michelin and they said the V and Y speed rated tires are the same compounds and should perform the same. The only difference was the speed rating. Officially they could only recommend the Y speed rated ones, even though the Model 3 top speed is 145 mph, because that is what their specs...

Time for new tires on my dual motor

The Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ only come in the stock 235/45 18 in the V-speed rated version(High Performance All Season). The Y-speed rated version(Ultra High Performance All Season) closest size is 245/45 18. Is the V-speed rated version as good as the Y-speed rated version? I don't think...

"Acceleration Boost" option, discussion as to which models and how much quicker

That is not my entire post. See below: "I just bought the boost upgrade and did pre and post Draggy tests to compare. I have a LR AWD w/ 980 motor, 22k miles, stock aero wheels. Conditions: temp 36 deg F outside. Did pre boost runs then drove home, downloaded the update and re-charged to 94%...

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

That's exactly what I'm doing. But I don't charge every night. I usually wait until I get down to about 20% or lower.

Range Loss Over Time, What Can Be Expected, Efficiency, How to Maintain Battery Health

I've been doing this for for a few months now and it has worked the best for me. I went from 254 mi at 90% up to 264 mi now. I tried multiple discharge below 10% then full charge to 100% but that seemed to make it worse.

Thinking of 245/45/r18 on 18" Aero Wheels with 5mm Spacers from Adaptec

Keep in mind that a 245 tire is 10 mm wider so it is like adding a 5 mm spacer. The rears can handle that extra 5 mm with a 20 mm spacer, but it may poke on the front with a 15 mm spacer.

    Model 3 Tire Pressure

It does not come standard. It is a 2k add on to any LR AWD.

Yes. The sleeper is just a software unlocked AWD. The suspension is exactly the same as the AWD. The performance model has different suspension and is slightly lowered vs the AWD.

Has anyone done wheel spacers WITHOUT lowering springs?

I have the stock aeros and am planning on getting 245/45-18 tires as well as 15/20 spacers. I'm worried that the 10mm wider tires(effectively adding 5mm extra offset) will stick out too much in both the front and rear. Has anyone done this? Will it poke out too much? Pics would be great.
