Yep. Greater than expected loss of $400 million. Projected close to break even in 3rd Qtr and profit in 4th Qtr. This would be an easy $100+ million to push that 3rd Qtr into profit and make the investors happy(and us non-P AWD owners happy too).

Someone needs to get on that. Earnings call is this Thur 7/25.

Looks perfect. It just needs some spacers to push out the wheels now. How does it ride compared to stock?

Gap looks great. Only problem with lowering without spacers is it makes the wheels look even more tucked in.

Did you use spacers or is that the stock offset? Did you have to use adjustable control arms to get the alignment right?

I don't have any personal experience with replacing a windshield but have heard that the seals are never as good as from the factory.

Could it be a vent hole to heat the door handles? Maybe leaving it out in the winter will help prevent freezing handles?

I'm in NJ. Tesla approved auto body shop quoted $1700 to replace the windshield. They said it would auto calibrate itself.

Try covering that gap with painter's tape and seeing if the wind noise is reduced.

I'll call them and see what they say. Ideally it'll be repairable.

I'm in NJ so I don't believe they have the free replacement law. I wouldn't mind trying to fix it. My deductible is $500 so $100 is better. I haven't called GEICO yet. How would I go about seeing if it was fixable? Call GEICO or Tesla?

Correct, no sales tax on EV's in NJ. But if you buy AP/EAP/FSD after you purchase the car, sales tax will be added. I just purchased AP last week(bought car Oct 2018) and was charged sales tax.

Mine still suck. Maybe a little less. In light to moderate rain the visibility is almost dangerous before the wipers activate.

Tax is based on the state the car is registered in.

The new BMW M340i has 380HP and does 0-60 in 4.2 sec. The new BMW M3 has 450HP and does 0-60 in 3.7 sec. I think that(0.5 sec) is a good spread between 0-60 times for the Model 3 Performance and Dual Motor. Since the Model 3P is at 3.2 sec now, it would make sense to drop the DM down to like 3.7...

Isn't that the same situation as BMW with the 340 and M3? The dual motor model 3 should really only be about a half second to three-quarters of a second slower than the performance model. Especially since the cost difference was only $5,000 after refunding the cost of the PUP pkg.

I am probably going to purchase AP for $2000 before Mon. It is charging me tax on the purchase. I am in NJ and there is no sales tax on EV purchases. I was not charged any tax when I bought the car in Oct. Has anyone in NJ purchased the $2000 AP and were you charged tax?

I had Suntek Ultra PPF and OptiCoat Pro applied to my car 11/1/18. After washing my car a few weeks ago I noticed some areas of the PPF peeling. Its only been 4 mo since being applied and my car has only been hand washed. I wanted to get opinions before calling the installer.
