I have a 2012 Sig. too, (Signature red) with Elon's signature on the drivers side visor. The car is still amazing and I'm holding on to it for the time being as I bought a model X for my daily driver. Glad to know there are more than just one signed by Elon.

As I understand it, the RED ones last until 2022 and the new purple ones are good until 2023. I think that is why many people waited to apply in January to get the additional time. And yes, purple is going to be an eye sore for sure.

I assume there were a ton of people that mailed their application for CA carpool stickers on January 2nd (me included). Just wondering if anyone received any purple ones from an early submission in December? I'm interested to see the turn around time and what they look like.

It was done right after I got it. I think I pain $10K for the sensors and folding mirrors. It was a great investment (in my opinion). Fully integrated into the system and hardware.

Anyone know what the window stickers look like? Does it matter if you have tinted the windows? (assuming the stickers go on the drivers and front passengers window)

I have mine and still love it. Just picked up a 2018 P100D Model X to ensure my carpool access next year :) I had Tesla add integrated "basic" parking sensors, foldable mirrors and the integrated center console. Good luck in your search!

Thanks Aljohn! Can you elaborate on what exactly this means: "pulling the lever on the B pillar" This would make more sense to me if it DIDN'T open up to full height with no car next to it. It seems to only limit the height if there is a car parked next to it. I'll make it work either way! :)

Side question... V9 is still EAP correct so we are only utilizing 4 of the 8 cameras on the car? Per the specs for a new car 2.5 hardware I presume. Why doesn't Tesla let EAP utilize all 8 cameras now but still keep it EAP Just wondering?

I believe if the driver had his foot on the accelerator, the emergency braking is not operational. At least my 2018 X tells me that when I set the cruise control and forget to take my foot off the accelerator.

The main reason is I didn't trust them. The statement of "it will take 3-4 days to order new ones" could easily become weeks, etc. The entire process was very disappointing so I'm not taking any chances. Sorry if this effected you in anyway.
