So according to the Safelight tech I spoke to today they can order the glass directly from Tesla. In fact, he said he had to otherwise my warranty would be voided. So maybe something has changed again recently. He said it takes about 2 weeks to get it shipped from Tesla.

I removed the cover where the battery is and it definitely sounds like it is coming from the battery area. So I have the static sound in the glovebox speaker and a humming type sound coming from the battery area as well.
