yeah I definitely have foot on brake when I do this...never have this issue when I go into drive...only reverse.

Its getting quite annoying. Now it rarely goes into reverse on first try. Usually I have to do it 2-3 times now and usually very slowly and deliberate. Anyones else's gear level like this??? Guess if Im the only one I should get it fixed ...I was really hoping to avoid their service center !

So I bumped bumpers in parking lot while backing up....I didn't hear any beeps going off at all...yet we have those radar dots/sensors on our rear bumpers...why are they there if it doesn't do anything?...all my previous cars had the radar beeps if it detects anything behind you while you back...

Yes i swapped out the rear rotors for performance also...I was told by my installer the rotors didn't appear to be the same size but don't know if he actually measured them....they actually put my old rear calipers on with performance rotors but had to take the performance rotor off cause there...

Got mine last night finally!...youtube and netflix work great...the spotify is just so so...actually more convenient to use spotify app on my phone and stream using bluetooth.

@Ebrake...looking good....now you need to replace those wheels...:). Wow you got great price on those calipers on ebay!...I paid a lot more but my rears were new and fronts had 2K miles on them so pretty new.

Not surprising at all....I am averaging 325 war/mile....I’m prob getting like a true 220 mile range on my LR awd car...I drive normally but have 20 inch after market wheels.

btw, you cannot just swap to the rear performance calipers unless you get the performance rotors also...the rotors are not the same for non-performance and performance...the non performance fronts look good painted and you can barely tell difference from performance brakes but rear non...

any place does installs on springs/coilovers, wheels, antiroll bars should be able to do it...I am sure the Tesla SC could do it but they won't...they refused to install my brakes as they didnt directly sell them...they will make any excuse not to do any work that isn't the "norm". I used 503...

those are just painted regular brakes am I right...the performance rotors have cogs on them...:)

Of course the P3d+ pkg is the better value, but this is for people who already have a non-performance car who is considering upgrading their brakes. I did this cause I dont like the 20 inch performance wheels and would have had to upgrade the wheels and tires anyway even if I had the performance...

just wow...point is not about cost, its about knowing about the harness so you don't get stuck like I did and throwing codes...dang...but to be clear, the cost is steep...I paid 1800 for fronts, 1300 for rears...install was 600...jumper harnesses were 200...you happy now???....:) I am sure most...

btw, there are vendors on eBay selling front/rears for 2400.00, which is a lot less than I paid individually!...dont think it has rear jumper harnesses though....dont think it has the hats either.

Doubt he wanted to do it but I am sure he did for the money...some people who dont track do not care about the performance brakes and you can sell performance brakes close to Brembo prices.

Guys, You cannot install rear performance brakes without throwing codes...as I stated before I actually had them installed for a hr or so but it was throwing codes(think it had to do with e brake)...so they took them back off...so I asked the guy who sold me the brakes what i could do and he...

Haha I tried to trade in a LR AWD that listed for 51K 4 months ago for a perf model and it had 200 miles on it but was over a week out by a day and Tesla offered me 39K trade in lolol...great resale value!

if I just took delivery of a p3d- car, I'd download a 0-60 app on my phone and confirm you got the 0-60 of 3.2 sec's or at least in the neighborhood of that time....simple thing to do.

there is a reason why the p3D costs so much more...I have essentially converted my LR AWD into the flip version of the p3d-(meaning I have upgraded everything but software)...the delta on tires and wheels alone has to be more than a 1000.00 easy...I paid 1450.00 for my 20 inch tires Michelin P4s...

You do realize that a Brembo BBK costs like 6-7K for front and rears right???...no way the spoiler is the most expensive part...that can be made for a 100 bucks tops...calipers and rotors are very spendy...lowering springs 400-500.00...wheels 3-5K...tires 1200.00

bit too low for my liking tbh but if you like the look than great...juyst personal preference.....when you drop more than 1.5 inches I can already see a lot of neg camber there you may get uneven tire wear...I prefer the 1 inch drop from TSportline myself.
